Story
Bean is a very social cat. She loves attention and to play. She needs someone to be around her or she gets lonely. Unfortunately I do not have the time as I work a lot. She is 7 months old with all of her shots. She will come with her cat tree, food and water dish, litter box, litter, bag of her favorite food and toys.

Story
Jax, formerly known as Alec, is a handsome senior black Bombay/DSH gentleman that was born approximately 06/07/2013.    Jax was rescued with his sister, Rowen, from a local neighborhood when he was a kitten. Through NBCR, they were adopted into a loving home and lived together happily for over 10 years. Sadly,  Rowen has passed away and their human mom has recently moved into a full-time memory care living facility. As you can imagine, this has been a very stressful time for him, but once he was returned to us and got some much needed TLC, he has bounced right back. We hope to find him another loving home in which to live out his remaining golden years. Jax is the most loving, sweet boy! Although he is a senior, he plays like a kitten. He is curious and, literally, the sweetest boy his foster mom has ever met! He LOVES to chase the laser light and to play with his toys. He likes scratchers, but seems to favor the cheaper cardboard ones. He uses the litter box and has never had any accidents. When Jax came to us he didn't have many teeth, but that doesn't bother him at all. He is on a wet food diet and the vet says that's good since he needs to lose at least a pound! Added benefit - no unpleasant dental cleanings required! Jax purrs non-stop when he is around you and demands pets. He doesn't seem to be a fan of dogs. His foster mom does not know how he would be with other cats. He does still scare easily, but if you can make him feel safe, he will be your best friend and warm very quickly. His foster mom says he is the perfect pet!  Jax is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.April 28, 2025, 3:43 pm

Story
Meet Miau â&#194&#128&#194&#147 Your Future Cuddle Companion! Miau is a sleek, silky-coated black domestic shorthair with the biggest golden-green eyes and an even bigger heart. At just around 2 years old and weighing in at a petite 8 pounds, Miau is equal parts elegance and goofball charm. Her cutest quirk? She loves sprawling out dramatically across the floor in the middle of the room like sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the queen of her castle â&#194&#128&#194&#147 and honestly, she is. Miau is on the shy side and can be easily startled by new or strange noises, but once she feels safe and gets comfortable with you, her sweet and snuggly nature shines. She was rescued as a stray and has blossomed into a loyal companion, now spayed and fully up to date on all her vaccines â&#194&#128&#194&#147 including rabies. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also been given a clean bill of health by the vet! Miauâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s energy level is comfortably moderate â&#194&#128&#194&#147 she enjoys playtime with wand toys and the occasional zoomie, but sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s just as content to snooze near your feet or curl up on a soft blanket. Her favorite thing? Treats! The moment she hears the rustle of a treat bag, she comes running with adorable enthusiasm. Miau prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she enjoys a quieter environment where she can be the center of attention. While she hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t lived with young children, she would likely do well with respectful older kids who understand feline boundaries. Miau would thrive best in a calm household with a patient adopter who can give her time to build trust, and in return, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll reward you with gentle affection and devoted snuggles. This little queen is fully litterbox trained and very tidy. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not crate-trained, but she travels well in a soft-sided carrier. While she doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t know any fancy tricks (yet!), her intelligence shows in how quickly she learns routines and adapts to her environment. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s incredibly in tune with her humans and will often meow softly to say hello or remind you itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s time for snacks. Her ideal home would be one where she can have a cozy window perch, minimal loud noises, and plenty of gentle companionship. Miau is being rehomed through no fault of her own â&#194&#128&#194&#147 due to a change in living circumstances, her human can no longer provide the stability she deserves. This sweet, affectionate cat will make a wonderful addition to a peaceful home looking for a quiet but loving feline friend. Miau is affectionate, gentle, and a joy to have around. Story
We have been fostering Ivy for about two months now. She was previously fostered by a family that found her on the streets. She is young and needs someone very experienced with her needs as I believe her to still be in fight or flight mode. Ivy loves to explore, loves being outside and is very playful. She is also a great cuddler when she is in the mood for it! I believe she could learn to be good with children if she was loved by someone experienced enough to recognize her needs more clearly. She is a beautiful and sweet cat, and deserves a very loving home.
