Story
Hey there, humans! It's me, June, and I've got a message straight from the heart! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 So, here's the deal: not everybody wants a kitten who's constantly demanding attention, meowing to be picked up, or demanding a soft lap to sit on every minute. And you know what? That's totally okay, because I'm not your average cat! If you prefer an independent sort of girl, then guess what? I'm your girl. I'm not one to be carted around like a baby—no sirree! But here's the real scoop: deep down, I'm a sweetheart who craves love and affection. You see, I've just not had the most loving humans until I came to the shelter. But now that I'm here, I'm ready to show the world what a loving feline companion I can be. When I want attention, oh boy, you better believe I'll let you know. I'll gracefully jump onto your lap, and you'll feel so honored, let me tell you! I just need a home where my unique blend of independence and affection is appreciated and cherished. Now, here's a little tidbit about me: I've been at this shelter since the end of 2019. Yep, that's right—I've been patiently waiting for my purr-fect match to come along and whisk me away to my forever home. And let me tell you, all I need is a little patience and love to live out the rest of my days in comfort and happiness. Oh, and did I mention I've already been spayed? Yep, that's one less thing to worry about! So if you're in the market for a feline friend who's equal parts independent and loving, then look no further! I'm June, and I'm ready to steal your heart with my unique charm and grace. Will you be the one to give me the love and patience I deserve? Come meet me today and let's start our journey together! #JuneTheCat #ForeverHomeDreams #AdoptDontShop The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and wormings, spay or neuter surgery, Frontline application, collar, ID tag and a cardboard pet taxi. Shelter hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm,Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm, Friday from 10am-3pm, the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and by appointment. Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: adopt@orangeburgspca.orgOctober 26, 2024, 2:55 am

Booty was a kitten from a litter at our house. I named him Booty because all four paws have white on them. Very sweet cat.

Story
I am heartbroken to have to rehome him. I got him 3 years ago as a kitten, but he started attacking my other cat on and off a year and a half ago and reintroducing them isn't working anymore. He's such a sweet, albeit timid cat. He's never been around dogs or kids but with how shy he is im not sure he would thrive in that environment. He's not super affectionate but will snuggle up when you're sleeping. He loves watching out the windows and sleeping in cardboard boxes. He's just an overall easy going cat. Never had any health issues, his rabies shot is 1yr out of date but his FVRCP is good for another year.

Story
Pitch was born in late March 2024 to a community cat mother and was later discovered crossing a busy road when she was only 4 weeks old. She was immediately very friendly and mewed fervently to be brought home and taken care of. She has since been cleaned up and become a beloved house cat with a very sweet personality. She has been brought up with other cats and loves to socialize. Pitch is a very sweet and active kitty who is very easy to pick up and handle. She loves to be played with and be given treats and will easily warm up to anybody that does so with her. She is not loud and has a polite little mew that is so cute to hear. Pitch has been spayed and given her first round of shots and is awaiting her second round of shots and a microchip from her new forever-home.
