Story
This little ball of energy is Thunder, a 4-month-old black kitten with striking yellow eyes that will capture your heart. Thunder lives up to her name with her playful spirit—she’s always dashing around, chasing toys, and pouncing on imaginary prey. Despite her lively nature, she adores cuddles and will happily settle into your lap for a nap after a good play session. Thunder is currently in a foster home with one loving caretaker and two adult cats, where she’s thriving and learning to interact well with humans and other cats. Thunder and her sister, Lightning, are inseparable and must be adopted together to keep their special bond. If you’re looking for double the love and joy, Thunder and Lightning are the perfect pair for your family! Thunder and Lightning would do best in a home that offers some space to explore and play, as well as a loving environment where they can receive lots of attention. A household with other friendly cats or older children would be a great fit, but they would also be perfectly happy as the only pets, as long as they have each other for companionship. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
We'll also keep you updated on Lightning's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Lightning is the softer, more thoughtful sister of the duo, but don’t be fooled—she’s just as playful and full of kitten energy! Her sleek black coat and golden-yellow eyes give her a mysterious beauty, but she’s an open book when it comes to her love for pets and snuggles. Lightning is curious and loves exploring her surroundings, always up for a game of chase or hide-and-seek. Currently in a foster home with one dedicated caretaker and two adult cats, Lightning has shown she’s great with both humans and other cats. She and her sister, Thunder, are deeply bonded and must be adopted together to ensure their happiness. Lightning promises to bring endless joy to her forever home—alongside her beloved sister, Thunder! Lightning and Thunder need a household where their playful and social nature will be appreciated. A family that loves interactive games, snuggles, and watching kittens grow into confident cats would be perfect. Ideally, their new home will have people who are ready to shower them with love and provide a safe, enriching space where they can thrive as a pair. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
