Story
Frank hereagain I must admit, Im starting to feel like a black sheep! So many of the other cats in my rescue have found homes, but Im still here. Will I never get adopted? Why are people superstitious about black cats? How can I convince someone to give me a chance? After all, to know me is to love me! Im sociable, and I love being petted. Plus, I get along great with other cats! So, cmon, Id frankly be a great addition to your family. Story
I adopted James from a high kill shelter in November of 2020. I was there for a different reason, but he stood up on his hind legs and waved at me with his little paw. He has the coolest raspy meow. When he sat down, I realized that one of his front legs is permanently damaged. A portion of it won’t move, you can see it in his first photo. He can move the paw, that’s the one he was using to wave at me. I took him home with me. James is a wonderful cat. He has been a loyal friend. His leg doesn’t need ongoing care. It doesn’t cause him pain, and he has no problems walking. He cannot jump as high as other cats. He can jump on my bed, but not my kitchen counters. Bonus, he does not enjoy climbing curtains or anything like that. He does seem to avoid children. I don’t know if there is a negative history there. Unfortunately, I am chronically ill with a progressive disease. I can no longer take care of pets. I have to move and I am not allowed to have cats.

These pups are in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma too!

Story
When I first met Simba, he was just a tiny kitten, barely two weeks old. He had been found all alone, so small and vulnerable, needing a safe place to grow. When I held him for the first time, I knew I wanted to be the one to give him that home. Watching him grow over the last four years has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Simba has always had a perfect balance of indoor coziness and outdoor (backyard) curiosity. He loves curling up on the couch, purring beside me, and soaking up the warmth of the indoors. But as soon as the door opens, he’s off on an adventure, exploring every nook and cranny of the yard with his elegant, playful stride. He’s a curious soul who brings joy and liveliness to every day. Simba is independent yet loving, with a spirit that’s both sweet and a bit sassy. I’m looking for someone who’ll embrace his unique personality, both his cozy, quiet side and his curious, adventurous side.
