Story
This darling kitty came to our porch for food. He is very friendly. I tried to find his home with no luck. We took him to the vet to be neutered and vaccinated. He is now ready for a forever home. He is now quite the lap cat! He tested negative for Feline leukemia but positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. This is spread from cat to cat by deep puncture wounds (biting). It cannot be spread to other animals or humans. He has been neutered which will decrease aggression and make it unlikely that he can transmit the disease. Cats with this condition can live a long health life and we were told by our vet he would most likely die of something else years from now. We prefer all the cats we rehome to be indoor kitties because they have better quality of life and live longer. I already have 3 kitties (two senior ones) and feed a clowder of feral cats so I'm not able to keep him. Please let me know if you would want to love this guy!
