Story
Meet Shadow! This gentle, affectionate, happy and active boy loves shadows and reflections and his favorite toy is a laser light, which he actively will search for when he wants to play. He will run happily from one end of the apartment to the other trying to catch the light! Shadow is super loving and jumps into his foster family's bed every night waiting for them to join him. He'll spend part of the night sleeping on your lap or resting on your chest with his arms wrapped around your neck. Shadow loves his scratch boards and never scratches anything else in the house. He will make a wonderful pet for someone who wants a gentle but energetic cat! He loves other cats but he may be happier as a solo pet who will get all your attention! This boy needs a loving furrever home where he'll get plenty of affection and playtime. Shadow is 3-4 years old and healthy. He is neutered and microchipped, tested fiv-/felv-, is up to date on vaccines and is ready for the right home where he can will be your furrever companion. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet with Shadow, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you navigate to Shadow, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Story
He is 2 years old. I got him from a coworker that advised he was abandoned. He seeks attention, but be careful as he is very snappy. Believed that he has PTSD due to kids hurting him while he was abandoned. He is house trained, and he likes to do "biscuits" and cuddle with people, but then he gets skiddish and leaves. He is very obedient. He should be with someone that is home most of the time, as he needs a lot of attention. A loving caring person that has a lot of time and can give lots of love and patience is ideal.

Story
Give a warm welcome to Amy, a playful 1-year old, 8-pound pure black cat who is as beautiful as she is sweet. Amy loves toys and frolicking around with other cats. Whether it’s a mouse, a ball, a feather, or a wand, Amy is always ready for fun. She enjoys being pet and is still learning how to cuddle. Lovely around all humans, the more relaxed she gets, the less shy she becomes. Amy is fully litter-box trained and takes great pride in her appearance. She has a very healthy appetite and eats her meals with gusto. She hasn’t been fed treats yet, but she will likely gobble those up with equal enthusiasm. When Amy is tired and chilling out, she finds the coziest places to hang out in. And that’s when she feels most comfortable getting loved on. Amy is just a sweetheart of a kitty and will make a very nice addition to any cat-loving home. Story
The Superhero kittens are an incredibly sweet bunch! These kittens are eager to be pet, cuddled and loved and they're so excited to love you. Catman (black M) and Wondercat (b&w tux F) were part of a large litter found on the street. They may have started out in a home and were dumped because it was too much for someone; the woman who asked us to help was giving them tons of love and attention. We don't really know, but we have been pleasantly surprised by how adorable they all are! These cuties must be adopted together or they can go separately to homes where there's another active cat to play with. Catman and Wondercat are about 7 months old and healthy. They are spayed and neutered, microchipped, tested fiv-/felv- and up to date on all vaccinations.  If you're interested in meeting the Superhero kittens, fill out our application here:  https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Wondercat and Catman and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel!
