Story
Adopt Arista Arista is a beautiful Bombay cat, very sweet and sensitive. She loves routine and a calm environment. She would do well in a home with teens and adults, she is fostered in a home with both. Arista loves to get head rubs and can be picked up and handled. She likes Temptations cat treats and eats IAMs dry cat food and Fancy Feast grilled wet cat food. Arista adores her foster sister, Melody. Arista and Melody were rescued as older kittens from a feral colony in Gloucester Co. They have been socialized and show affection to their foster family. They would love a home where they could stay together. Melody is much more shy than Arista when meeting new people. They do not show that well but are wonderfully sweet and loving cats. Anyone who wants to give a home to "hard to place" cats, would be very lucky to earn their love and trust. They are wonderful girls!! Adoption special- $75 for a single or a pair until the First Day of Spring. Regular Adoption fee- $150 for one $200 for two. Apply here- www.purrfectangels.org/adopt

Story
Salem is a 3 year old cat. She is very friendly, but shy. She has developed anxiety around our children and other cat and became very isolated. Due to her anxiety she did begin urinating on our stuff. We have moved her to her own area in the basement, away from other cat and the children and she has no problem using the litter box appropriately down there. However, I feel it is unfair for her to live in a basement with very minimal human interaction. She is extremely friendly and affectionate once when is comfortable with you and feel she would be best in a home with no young children or dogs. She did get along with our other cat but became anxious and isolated.

Story
Meet Romeo! A sweet and handsome 2-3 year old boy. He was the neighborhood cat who would frequently visit and call up to us at the front door (hence his name). He was fully in tact and did not have a microchip, but no more! He is still overcoming a sensitive tummy and is on prescription dry food (available online or at the vet). Romeo is an affectionate and social boy who loves his people and wants to be near them 24/7, especially for play time or a nice nap on your lap. As a young boy, he does have a lot of energy and can get feisty when he plays, resulting in a nip or two, but otherwise never bites or swipes. Romeo can be vocal and will let you know when he’s not receiving enough attention or is ready for meal time! He’s been perfect with his litter box since day one. It seems like he would be good with another young, playful cat but unfortunately our 9 year old cat is not welcoming so sadly we can’t keep him. He is very happy as an indoor cat and deserves his forever home!

Story
Please check our available cats in need of a home on our website: http://www.adoptapet.com/cat-chance-rescue/ Noir is social, energetic, playful, young around 3 year old boy, who loves to be held and will sit on your lap and give kisses. Noir loves getting attention and will gladly follow you around just for the chance to curl up in your lap. If you ever stop petting him he'll place his paw on your hand just to remind you that there's no such thing as too much. Do you have room in your home for this wonderful intelligent boy? Contact us. Hi my name is Noir and I resemble a “miniature black panther”, I am a very social kitty, young about 1 year old who loves company of people a lot! I crave for human attention and will roll over on my back to get it. Overall, I am intelligent, very playful, full of energy and attention-seeking kitty. I love to be hold, pet, lay on your lap and get lots of attention. If you think you can get any work done on your PC – well, I will lay next to you on your desk to keep you company but make sure to pay attention to me too and give me a head rub meanwhile. I am very outgoing and interactive. My favorite thing in the world is to sleep in bed with humans right under arm and purr. I'm a loyal, loving companion and a very affectionate kitty and I love to roll over on my back to show my appreciation and love. I am very outgoing and interactive. I am very energetic and would love a home with toys and a cat tree to hang out. I love playing with laser and get involved into any game you have in mind. But if you ould like to relax, I will snuggle next to you. I am also very smart and learn things really fast. If you call me I respond and come right to you. Did you know? Black cats have more baggage than your average feline. Seen as an enigma, a superstition, a symbol of luck – good or bad, depending on the tradition or belief, they are often misunderstood, or just plain looked over. Black cats have the lowest adoption rate. This is unfortunate, and not just for the cats- black cats make some of the best companions and people are really missing out! Although each and every cat has a unique personality, in general, I have noticed a few traits that really stand out in black cats. Here, in my humble experience is why: Beautiful: From brownish to bluish to every shade of black in between, black cats are beautiful in the way that one can only imagine onyx would be, if it were covered in fur. Loyal: No matter how many work trips or late nights, I am always greeted at the door. I am meowed to over the phone when away. Black cats are wonderful in being both friendly to all and dedicated to their person/people. Adaptable: While some cats struggle with change, black cats tend to quickly adapt to whatever circumstances they are dealt. Aware: Black cats seem to walk a line- they tend to be more calm and reserved than some other cats, yet they balance that by staying playful and active throughout their lives. They relish new toys, found objects, and are talented at entertaining themselves for hours (and napping for hours thereafter). The types of games they create and the ones they enjoy engaging in often involve others-people, cats, dogs, etc., and tend to be more complex, such as games of fetch and tag. Smart: In a final word, black cats are smart. They are savvy to things going on around them, and highly responsive and capable of handling change, throughout which, they remain calm, loving, energetic companions.
