Honey Bear is available with his sister Ramona. We weren't sure if they would lose their eyes but their foster did a great job with their medications. As most of you know the corneal scarring does not hold them back at all. To meet them, please apply at https://linktr.ee/nyctfa

Story
2Cosmo (black male) and Luna (gray female) are the most gentle, sweetest fur babies ever! They love being pet and push their faces into your hand for more, all while purring very loudly! They were being fostered in a family with 2 young children and are very easy going with them. They love to play with toy mice and then snuggle with their foster family and each other. These bonded kitties were rescued from a street colony in Gerritsen Beach where most of them are friendly and obviously dumped.  Both kitties are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cosmo is positive for felv and negative for fiv. Luna is negative for felv/fiv and vaccinated against felv. We just could've separate these 2, so Luna will need felv vaccines every year in order to stay with her boyfriend. If you'd like to meet these 2 beautiful sweethearts please complete our online application here https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ and write Tara as their rescuer.  Thank you for thinking of a rescue animal in need of a loving home! Adopting one animal will help to open space for future furry-friends dreaming of forever homes! All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt. Story
Quake (b&w tux F) and Black Panther (black M)  are two siblings from a large litter found on the street, later named the Superhero kittens!  These kittens are an incredibly sweet bunch - so playful and eager to be cuddled.  They may have started out in a home and were dumped because it was too much for someone; the woman who asked us to help was giving them tons of love. We don't really know, but we have been pleasantly surprised by how adorable they all are! Quake and Black Panther are typical playful, curious kittens who are also pretty chill for their age. They must be adopted as a pair or they can go separately to homes where there's another active cat to play with. Quake and Black Panther are about 6-7 months old and healthy. They are spayed and neutered, microchipped, tested FIV-/FeLV- and are up to date on all vaccinations. If you're interested in meeting Quake and Black Panther, fill out our application here:  https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Quake and Black Panther and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street. January 21, 2025, 8:39 am

Story
Leo is in search of the perfect, forever home that will give him a safe place to land after his rough start to life. For the past year, Leo was been kept in a basement of an apartment building to catch mice. Although residents of the building went out of their way to give him love and attention, he was often neglected by his owner, the building's management. In late August 2024, Leo developed a urinary obstruction and he was hospitalized for four days. Leo is much better now and is being fostered by a resident of that building while he searches for his forever home. Leo is a sweet boy who loves nothing more than just being in the same room as you. He takes awhile to come out of his shell, but one he does, he would love to spend afternoons with you on the couch and evenings in bed. He has quite a healthy appetite and loves his prescription wet food, which he will have to be on for the rest of his life to prevent another obstruction from occurring. Leo is good with dogs and has even played with his foster brother and sister (both dogs) a few times! It is unknown how he behaves around other cats. Leo will be neutered and given all of his basic shots at the end of the month. He is roughly four years old. Leo would benefit from a calm home to let him decompress after this rough year. He sheds very little and is very treat motivated! He would love nothing more than to be a part of your family If you would like to give this wonderful cat a home, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application! www.pupstarzrescue.org Please Follow us on Instagram: @pupstarzrescue Like us on FaceBook! www.facebook.com/PupStarzRescue
