Story
ROSCOE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is Roscoe.  You have a chance to adopt your very own panther.  He was rescued as a newborn at only a couple of days old.  He is very affectionate and playful. The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  He loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. He would do well as a family kitty and loves all other kitties, cat-friendly dogs, and kids. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north once he is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 7, 2025, 1:35 pm

Story
If you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at: info@ht-ac.org Alex was rescued from the basement of an apartment building in Hartford, where she was abandoned by her owner who had nowhere to live. She is currently in a foster home in Glastonbury. Alex is a tripod and is missing her right hind leg. It doesn’t slow her down one bit, though! When not in a hurry, she mostly gets around with casual little hops, but she can put in short spurts of speed and has no problem jumping up to her favorite spot on the couch, as you can see in the video. Alex is a very friendly kitty, and settles in after a pretty short adjustment. She absolutely lives for attention and deserves to be doted on and loved by her very own persons. This will be no hardship as she purrs like a diesel engine and she has super soft and plush fur. She just stares at you as you pet her, like she can’t believe she got so lucky that you’re in her life. She is quite talkative, and is very interested in you and your daily life. She also enjoys a little alone time in cozy pet beds or perched where she can stare out a window. She has suffered some type of trauma in the past, and so now she shines best when in a calm, quiet environment. She’s also a little defensive when sharing space with other animals, and will likely be most successful as an only pet. She is 2 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Story
This kitty absolutely loves to purr and will start rumbling the moment you give them attention. He is very food crazy and never miss mealtime, but that just adds to their charm. Overall, he is very good, well-behaved cat who enjoys companionship and a cozy place to relax. In a new home, looking for someone who will appreciate a cuddly , affectionate cat and does mind mind an enthusiastic appetite. Adjectives I use to describe my cat are: loving, playful, chatty, food motivated, and sweet-natured.

Story
We found Jiji outside our home 3 months ago. He was too skinny, had patches of missing hair, and ticks. He had no street survival skills and was too friendly to be a street cat. He seemed to have been abandoned by someone, we suspect when they moved because he hates boxes. He has gotten all shots and health checks already. He's in great health now. Just has some urinary crystals that will dissolve with time and food. He loves to cuddle and is very sweet. He usually doesn't jump on counters but is very food motivated thus trainable. Jiji does not get along with our dog and our chaotic schedule does not allow for us to keep him. He deserves a loving forever home after having such an unfortunate early life. Please someone find it in your heart to adopt this loving black cat.
