Story
DOB Feb 9, 2023   Meet Marty, an exquisite Bombay Mix. He was found injured in a backyard. A Good Samaritan took him in and nursed him back to good health. He is now ready to find his forever home. He’s calm, cool and collected, but at the same time loving and playful. We found out he is better either as an only or with a super playful cat that isn’t phased by his energy.   Come in to meet this sleek panther at our cage-free adoption center in Westlake Village.July 7, 2024, 12:09 am

Story
I have 2 cats (mother and daughter) who need a new home. Kitty (black cat) is 2-years-old and the mother. Suki (striped cat) is the daughter who is 1 year-old. Both are smaller than average sized cats; they can be mistaken for older kittens. They have easy personalities and are very calm, classy, and independent. Both may be a bit shy at first but you can win their heart over with food. Once they get to know you, they can be very affectionate and friendly. Unfortunately, my step daughter lost her job, apartment and can no longer care for them. My wife and I can’t look out for them as we live in a small apartment with our 12-year-old dog. The last thing we want is to see them go to a shelter so we hope they both find a home where they will be loved and nurtured. These are both great cats for anyone who is a cat lover or a family getting a cat for the first time. Both are potty trained and are in-house cats.

Story
This gorgeous House Panther was born in May of 2011, in the attic of a home in Sherman Oaks, CA. He and his brothers were only around 4 or 5 weeks-old, at the time. They had fallen through the attic floor and landed behind a wall in the living room! The homeowners ended up cutting an opening in the wall to get them out! We do know his Mama was a feral, Siamese Snow Shoe (short-haired) and he has some of the classic Sia features. Although Abbott received the same amount of socialization and play time, as his brothers, he never fully tamed and remained on the shy, scared side. When it comes to the other male cats, in the house however, Abbott is probably the most popular... always in the center of the attention. All the others love to play, wrestle, cuddle and sleep with Abbott! This handsome fella is playful, smart, and affectionate with a coat that's shiny like silk. His build is lean and muscular. Abbott can be social around his favorite human (me) and will hop up onto the bed to play with stringy toys. Once he gets going, he plays with complete abandon. His weakness is freeze-dried Chicken treats and will gently eat them from your finger tips or even your lips. But if he thinks you're going to touch or pick him up he may run. He knows his name and communicates like any other cat - that's connected to a human... except in the areas of touch. Please... won't you give this deserving boy a loving home? He'd make an excellent companion for another friendly, playful, young male (or two). *The video uploaded was shot when he was still a young kitten... but you can see how sweet and gentle he is. Abbott's adoption will include his: * Neuter, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! *You can also find his complete rescue story, photo and video updates on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties (or type in "2TheResQ" in the search bar). Please only contact us if you will be making him a permanent members of your family and will be keeping Abbott SAFE INDOORS. ~ $100. adoption fee for Abbott. Adoption contract and home check apply ~ Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!!
