Story
Rescued from the streets of Istanbul when she was around eight months old. She is shy with new people, but once she is comfortable with them, she is very affectionate and loves sitting near or on her humans. She is very good with kids and has tolerated the antics of my 10-year-old son. She is okay with our other cat, but I have a feeling that she will be even better in a one-cat home. She seems to be more affectionate when our other cat is in a different room. At night, she becomes incredibly affectionate and very loving. She is an expert at sleeping. If you give her a comforting belly rub, she will lie on her side. Galaxy is about 3.5 years old. My son and I have been living in Istanbul, Turkey, the land of cats, for nearly four years now. We are returning to California in December to stay with family. My father has been diagnosed with aggressive cancer, so we’ll stay with him in his small home, where there isn’t room for the cats, and his partner is allergic to cats.
