Meet Apple!-2 year old spayed female Bombay mix-Came into the Shelter as a stray-Indoor/Outdoor access may be appropriate in next home after a period of acclimation*Apple’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draw’s adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters.*Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

We've had Kiki for almost three years but have to rehome her due to finding out our youngest daughter is allergic. She's a good cat that absolutely loves cuddling with people and having things dangled in front of her. Please note that she is FIV positive but does not show any symptoms.

Precious is just that! A 13 ½ year old cuddly and quietly chatty senior girl that wants to keep you‬ ‭ company and be included in your conversations. She’s also a professional biscuit maker, and‬ ‭ with extra toes on her front feet, she makes the best biscuits around. She is a people cat and is‬ ‭ great with kids too! She has coexisted with other cats before and might be able to do so again‬ ‭ given a slow introduction. She has not lived with a dog. Precious’ person passed away a few‬ ‭ years ago and her remaining family member is moving far away and their living situation will be‬ ‭ changing, so she will sadly not be able to make the move with them.
