Meet Salem! He is a GORGEOUS 10-week old, male, kitten. Salem has short silky, shimmery fur and beautiful hazel eyes. He is not a Bombay, but looks very similar and will have a body shape that is lean and lithe. He is so friendly and affectionate and will immediately start purring the minute you pet him. He is definitely a cuddle bug! He would be happy to be adopted on his own or be a wonderful addition to an existing fur-family. Salem is an orphan whose Momma was hit by a car. But, after joining a different litter of kittens he has adjusted well. All of our kittens are looking for a loving, safe, and forever home. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! He rescued me on August of 2024, I am a girl and I was a couple of weeks old when he took me in so I am a little over a year. He took me in and fostered me for a little over a year and took care of me but he is moving now. About me I always been sweet and love affection. I gave birth to 5 kids but my kids are with a family. I am loving with my foster parent and everyone at home. I grew up around another cat that is 3 years old and then grew up with my kids for a while until they moved away. I also grew up with the 3 year old cat’s child too. We always eat around each other and sleep around each other all the time and have been since I was a baby so I’m used to growing up and being around cats but sadly he can’t take me with him since he is moving and IS NOT giving me to a shelter because who knows what would happen.And btw the orange tabby needs a home too. He is very playful, loving, snuggly and so sweet. They are both in need of a new loving home/s asap. Orange tabby was born 5/21/25

Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. CASSANDRA had 6 kittens in a very dangerous industrial recycle center in Compton, California. The babies were born in a abandoned car inside the recycling plant. The trapper was able to get the kittens to safety and went back for mom. Kittens were sent out to a rescue in San Diego, California. And once mom was caught, the trapper discovered she was a very super sweet, purring machine!! Meet CASSANDRA, a sassy, sweet, and feisty tuxedo kitty from Compton, California, who is equal parts cuddly and commanding! With her classic black-and-white fur coat, this chubby little diva has perfected the art of being the center of attention, but only when she’s in the mood. She’s got that special “I’m in charge” attitude that makes her both endearing and, let’s face it, a bit bossy! CASSANDRA might be large in size, but don’t let that fool you—she’s also got a big personality. She absolutely adores her 3-tier toy, the one with those colorful balls that keep her engaged for hours. You’ll often find her batting the balls around, her little paws a blur of movement. It’s her favorite way to unwind, and she’s become a master at rolling the balls just the right way to make them bounce with that perfect thwack sound. If there’s one thing CASSANDRA does, it’s play with purpose. As much as she enjoys her playful independence, CASSANDRA is also a fan of affection—but on her terms, of course. She loves receiving pets when she’s ready for them, but if she's not feeling it, she’ll make sure you know with a quick glance or a soft swat (nothing too serious, just a reminder that she’s the boss!). The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.
