Story
Hey there! I'm Darby. I bet you can't guess what kind of dog I am... go ahead and give it a try.... I am 4 a year old female English Bulldog/ Poodle! I came to Zoe's House from a commercial breeder where I was bred for my puppies. This was my whole life. I was a very scared when I came to my foster home. I wasn't used to kindness but the lady there was so nice and nurturing that I started coming out of my shell. I have come to enjoy being petted and am excited when the lady comes home. I wag my tail and wiggle until she comes over and pets me. I even give her kisses. I am looking for my forever home. I sleep in my crate. I know to go to it for dinner time and bedtime. I'm doing good with housebreaking. I sometimes have an accident but I am working hard on this. I need someone who will be patient with me as I continue to grow and overcome my past. I don't play much but like laying on the sofa. I get along with the other dogs in my foster and I am learning from them that life can be good. I am up to date on vaccines and spayed already. I am crate trained and don't have accidents in my crate. I I require a home with another calm dog please. I am not sure about young kids. I don't like loud noise or sudden movements because they startle me and make me scared. Older kids 13 and older who can respect that I need patience would be really good for me. A small fenced yard is best since I don't walk on a leash yet. I'm being fostered in Schuylkill County so any potential adopters will have to travel to meet him. If you think that you can give Darby the love and patience that she needs to continue growing, please apply at https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt. Zoe's House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Meet Natasha, a beautiful 5-year-old merle miniature poodle with a shy but sweet personality. Surrendered by a commercial breeder, Natasha-affectionately called "Tasha" by her foster mom-spends a lot of time sitting quietly with her person. Though she is still wary of people and needs time to warm up, her gentle nature shines through once she feels safe. Natasha does have a bit of separation anxiety, not when her person leaves, but when they are in the house and she can't see them. You will never again go to the bathroom alone! Natasha enjoys the company of her foster dog siblings but would thrive either as the only dog or with one other calm canine companion to help her continue to learn how to be a dog. She's potty trained, responds well when called, and enjoys running in a fenced yard. Remember, regression is common in breeder dogs until they get comfortable in their surroundings. Tasha has been spayed, had a dental cleaning, and is up to date on her vaccines. If you have the patience and love to give this gentle girl the time she needs to trust, Natasha will be a loyal and loving companion. Kennel 9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Story
Meet Fin Hi my name is Fin. I am a 7-year-old male Bichon weighing 10 lbs. who came from a commercial breeder. I am shy at first but when I get to know you, I am sweet and affectionate and love to cuddle. I enjoy going for walks, but you have to be patience because nothing goes un-sniffed. Fin is good with dogs of all sizes but not sure about cats since he has not been around them, at this time. He would be good in a home with other dogs or a one and only. He is good with children but has not been around small babies. Fin is working on potty training and doing good as long as you take him out every 3 hours. Please remember regression may happen in a new environment. He will go in the crate if you have to leave him for a couple hours but not a big fan. Fin loves to cuddle up on the couch with you, and does sleep in the bed with his foster mom and his foster sister all night. Fin is neutered and microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He is also on Flea, tick and heartworm medicine which must be continued at his new home. Fin is a wonderful dog who would make a great addition to any family. If you are looking for a loyal and loving companion, Fin is the perfect dog for you! I am being fostered in York PA so approved applicants and their family and dogs will have to travel to York for a meet and greet before being approved for adoption. If you are interested in Fin and think he would be a good fit for you and your family please fill out an application for adoption on our website. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe's House Inc.
