Story
Daisy is a 12 year old Bolo mix. She has been with me for 9 years. She is very loyal and loving and would love a home that would provide her lots of cuddles. She loves to lay on her bed right next to you or by a window to look outside. She has been an amazing companion and would love for her to go to a caring and loving home. She sleeps a lot but would be best in a home where there is a person present. If you want a very loving dog that provides great companionship Daisy is your girl.

Story
Smudge Breed: Poodle DOB: 2-26-2024 Gender: Male, neutered Weight: approx. 8 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $400 Smudge is a sweet and shy little guy. Once he knows his people, he is happy to be with them. However, Smudge still has a way to go in his socialization. This means he needs to first meet his new family for about a week, then slowly get to know his neighborhood and then friends and extended family over time. He'll need to go to new places for new experiences, textures under his feet, and challenges he will need to overcome. Hiking area parks and walks on area Greenways are a must. Weekly adventures are a given! We are seeking an adult home for Smudge. We are also seeking a home with another well socialized dog. Yes, we will want to meet your other dog before the adoption can be completed! This is a lovely boy who was provided love and attention in his previous home, but did not have outside visitors and did not leave his property. This is why ongoing socialization is needed- although it would be needed anyway, as he is still just a puppy! His new family will be dedicated to training and working with him to overcome his shyness. We expect him to be a totally different dog in a year! He's sweet now and will be spectacular with just a bit of training! Good w/ Other Dogs- Yes, playful! Good w/ Cats- Likely Energy Level- Moderate Children- Seeking adult home Grooming Needs- High Walks on Leash- Reluctantly, but learning (you must continue training) Special Needs- No Knows basic commands- No Experienced Home- Required Good First Time Dog- Seeking an experienced home Rides well in car- Somewhat, may salivate Crate Trained- Yes Low Allergen- Yes Good apartment dog- No Fenced Yard- Required Adoptive homes within 1 hour of Raleigh, NC area only. Story
Little Girl Breed: Cavalier or Papillion or Shih Tzu mix- Or a mix with Tibetan Spaniel! Gender: Female, spayed DOB: 1-8-2022 Weight: approx. 10 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $375 This sweetheart is just as cute as she can be! She is housebroken, pee pad trained, and crate trained. She knows her basic commands. She can walk nicely on a leash. She gets along with other dogs and loves her humans! Little Girl still has a bit of insecurity and can end up with a submissive pee incident at greetings and with high excitement. The best solution for this, in addition to ongoing training, is to limit all greetings to outside. This means that when you get home and remove her from her crate, you don't touch her, talk to her, or engage her until you are outdoors! The less interactions she have physically and verbally at initial greeting, the better the submissive wetting will get! Little Girl loves to chew on a nylabone or bully stick! She enjoys squeaky toys, as well! She plays like a maniac with her foster siblings, but does need continued monitoring for appropriate play- she doesn't always get the cues of other dogs on when play is over or unwanted. She will need guidance in this area. When on walks Little Girl does great with handlers that require she walk politely by their side. When allowed to go where she wants when she wants and do what she wants when she wants- well, she wants to run after the squirrel and leap at other dogs while barking wildly with abandon. This, unfortunately, causes fear and anxiety for other people, dogs and animals. She is slowly learning to be polite and we are seeking a home that will take the time to help her be a better dog on walks! She's doing great in her foster home and is a fun little girl! Good w/ Other Dogs- Yes Good w/ Cats- No Energy Level- Moderate Children- No Grooming Needs- Moderate to high Walks on Leash- Yes Special Needs- No Knows basic commands- Learning! Experienced Home- Required Good First Time Dog- No Rides well in car- Yes Crate Trained- Yes Low Allergen- We don't think so Good apartment dog- No Fenced Yard- Required Adoptive homes within one hour of the Raleigh area.
