You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Minnie came to us after her beloved owner passed away. She's 9 to 10 years old and could be a mix of poodle, yorkie or other terrier, and shih tzu, among other possible breeds. Even though she's considered a senior, she's still bouncy, feisty, and filled with love to give to someone. She has been fully vetted and microchipped and her fee is $150. She will receive a much needed spa day before adoption. Minnie is a smart, well mannered lady who knows some basic commands and tricks. She loves all people and has done well with other dogs of similar size. She hasn't had any known exposure to cats but we don't think she'd mind them. She would love a calmer home in which she's not left alone a lot. A potential adopter needs to be prepared for the regular grooming she requires. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
