Story
Meet my sweet girl Penny! I adopted her as an adult in 2020, and she has brought so much love into my life ever since. She is hands down the sweetest dog. Her only goal is to show you love, always. Penny passed her Canine Good Citizens test and even worked as a therapy dog at the school I used to work at, spreading joy to everyone she met. She gets along wonderfully with my other dog and my two cats, but she does need slow introductions to new dogs. Penny is initially reactive to other dogs and, because of her Border Collie personality, she just might not get along with some dogs. She cannot go to dog parks or interact freely with other dogs. This makes her a great match for an experienced owner who understands how to handle a reactive dog with patience and care. She's an absolute gem and just needs the right person who can support her in moments when shes feeling reactive on walks. If youre familiar with working with dogs like Penny, she will reward you with endless love.
