Story
Donnie [ Donald, more commonly referred to as Donnie, is a 2 (almost 3 in December) year old neutered Bluetick Coonhound. He is healthy and playful. He is a very sweet boy that needs his forever home. He loves to go for long walks, play with his toys and his brother. He is friendly with other dogs (he’s lived in a home with another dog his whole life) and children. He would thrive in a fenced yard as he has learned to escape from an electric fenced yard. He is a great dog for someone looking for their very best bud, who has the time and space that he needs and deserves. ] Donnie is house trained but not crate trained. some of his weaknesses -nail trims -baths -has not received professional training Donnie is being fostered in McHenry Illinois Adoption fee of $400 required. Story
Meet Hannah! Age: senior Breed: Hound mix (Blue Tick) Weight: 49 pounds Good with: Kids and dogs. I met a cat recently and wasn't phased!! House trained: yes Crate trained: not needed because I'm a super good girl! Hannah is a real marathoner…of books, movies, video games…anything that keeps her person close! This sweet pup has yet to meet a dog or person she doesn’t like and it’s clear that she was a loved pet in her past. She’s a cuddly pup who is happy to relax with her people or enjoy a sniff outside. She does well on walks, but does better with a buddy to keep her moving. This soft, gorgeous gal is relaxed and has a go-with-the-flow personality so she would do well in a multitude of home environments. Hannah recently had a sleepover in a home with cats, where she was respectful of their space, but did take over the kitty’s heated bed! She loves warm, cozy spots and has been a good sport about tolerating sweaters on chilly mornings. As a senior pup, Hannah does have some arthritis that is being managed. Stairs: she can do outdoor stirs no problem, but is working on navigating interior stairs. She’s happy to “chat” with her people about her needs. Because she’s so friendly, Hannah enjoys joining her fosters on car rides and any activity that involves another dog. This sweetheart of a pup is looking for a place to be loved and call home, could that be with you? Hannah is fostered in the Madison, WI area Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.
