Story
Beau is one of four angels rescued from a bad situation and ready to live the life he deserves! All lived their entire lives on a chain, and a very heavy one at that. No one deserves that. Especially not these sweet souls. They are all very sweet, very loving and very forgiving. If only humans could be more like dogs, the world would be a better place! Beau is a gentle soul who need a home of his own. A home filled with love and without chains. A warm bed instead of the cold ground. And a place where they can feel safe and secure. Beau is a 10 year old, 48 lb hound mix with a stubby tail that never stops wagging. He is neutered and UTD on vaccinations and preventatives. Unfortunately Beau tested positive for heartworm but has already started treatment with all vet costs for treatment covered by AC ARF. We REALLY need to find a foster or an adopter for charming Beau as soon as possible! He is currently in boarding and needs a home where he can finally learn what it’s like to have a family. Kitty is a purple ribbon pure bred blue tick coon hound born in Selmer, TN. She is 7 years old and has been a house dog for as many years. I didn’t choose her when she was a puppy, she chose me. She is sweet and loves marshmallows. She is food motivated. She will do anything for a snack. She loves popcorn. I am in the process of selling my home and I cannot take her to my new location. I am heartbroken. I want to leave her with someone who will love her. She has a basket of toys that she likes to play with occasionally. She is AKC registered and her official name is Miss Kitty Music City. She grew up in Nashville. She loves people. Take her to a dog park and she wants to be with people rather than dogs. She is friendly to everyone including dogs. She needs to be with a family who will love her as much as she will love them. She is extremely smart. She is the same pure bred dog as “Smoky” at UT. She is strictly an indoor dog. She will show you when she needs anything. Please love her!

This is Boone! He is a hound from a small town. He came to us as a wandering stray just trying to find his way. He appeared to have been through some rough stuff with wounds and scars all over his head and body. He has been on strict cage rest and activity due to his neuter surgery being a little more extensive and unfortunately is positive for heartworms. Boone really REALLY needs a home (foster or adopt) where he can finish out his treatment or possibly the rest of his years

Story
CJ has been with our family since February 2022, born on October 31, 2021. He enjoys naps, pets, walks, and can be a jogging companion. CJ would do well with older children who respect his boundaries. He is being re-homed due to an incident with our toddler, who doesn't yet understand CJ’s territorial nature around food and treats. CJ has bitten our toddler once over a toy truck near his treat, but he has not had issues with our older kids, who respect his space. This is not the first occurence of CJ nipping our toddler regarding his boundaries. He is house/crate trained, enjoys watching wildlife, and is friendly with people on leash. CJ is fine in the car and can be left unsupervised at home for hours. He would be a great companion for someone who values boundaries and can provide consistent training. He loves ear and chest rubs and even slept with our older child regularly and safely. He has done fine with other female dogs in our home.
