This sweet little lady is the perfect companion to go on adventures AND snuggle on the couch. She loves kids and dogs as well but would do best in a home with dogs over 30lbs as she sometimes gets a little crazy when playing. She is not cat friendly. Wendy is medium-high energy but will settle down as long as she gets a good walk! **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. She is NOT available for to people not local to Charleston, SC until her treatment is completed in November. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. Gordo is a medium energy big love bug who wants to be your best friend. He loves to go on walks and adventures, and does fantastic on car rides. He also does a great job settling into his crate for rest or sleep. He gets along great hanging and playing with other dogs, but it’s recommended to separate him when food is out. Gordo is completely unaware of his size (we’re working on it), so for this reason he is not recommended for families with small children. I got Hambone as a rescue when his owner went to jail. I live in an apartment and Hammy needs more space and a yard. He is sweet and independent, and would probably make a great hunting dog considering his drive to chase squirrels and raccoons up trees. He is vocal when he wants to communicate something but does not bark at every leaf falling, nor does he bark when left alone.
