Story
Introducing Bingo: A High-Energy, Affectionate Bluetick Hound Mix Seeking an Active HomeMeet Bingo, a 3-year-old Bluetick Hound mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy! Bingo is an adventurous, playful dog who thrives on human companionship and is always ready to go for a walk, play a game, or explore the outdoors. His high energy and enthusiasm make him the perfect companion for an active household that can keep up with his playful spirit and provide him with the enrichment he craves.Bingo absolutely loves people and is always excited to be around his humans. However, due to his strong prey drive, he is not suitable for a home with cats. He is also very enthusiastic around other dogs and will require a meet and greet with any dogs in the home to ensure they are a good match. A slow introduction process is key to ensuring Bingo’s comfort and helping him get along with any existing pets.Training & Behavior Needs:Bingo’s high energy and curiosity mean he will thrive with structure and mental stimulation. He needs a strict enrichment schedule to keep his mind and body engaged. Regular playtime, walks, and puzzle toys are essential to prevent boredom and help him burn off energy in a productive way. He will also benefit from consistent training to help improve his leash manners, as he tends to pull on the leash.Bingo is eager to learn and will respond well to positive reinforcement and treat-based training. While he’s still refining his basic obedience skills, he’s already familiar with the basics and is ready to build on that foundation. With continued training and dedication, Bingo will make great progress and become an even more well-mannered companion.Channeling His Energy:Bingo has a lot of energy and needs a family who can provide him with plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He would thrive in an active household where he can get out for daily walks, enjoy regular play sessions, and engage in activities that challenge his mind, like puzzle toys or scent work. Bingo`s enthusiasm for life is contagious, and with the right outlets for his energy, he will be a happy and well-adjusted dog.Socialization with Other Pets:Bingo has a high prey drive, so he is not suited for a home with cats. He can, however, live with other dogs, but he will need a proper meet and greet to ensure a good fit. A slow introduction process is key when bringing Bingo into a multi-pet home. This i
