Story
This beautiful 9 yr old girl needs to be the only dog. She is very aggressive and will fight with dogs. We thought it was female dogs but, it is male dogs too. She has to be separated from the other dogs in the house, trying to juggle between each, having time out side and freedom around the house has made her depressed. But, she cannot be with others. She does not mess with our cat. She follows the cat around and they even lay next to each other but she has shown no sign of aggression with her. We hate to rehome her but, the vet said if she cannot be an only dog then she needs to be put down. She is the sweetest. She loves to snuggle and loves outside. However, she is an indoor dog. She is leary of strangers but does great once she is comfortable. She is decent on a leash but has not got to go for walks in a while due to loose dogs in our neighborhood and I am scared she will get into fights. She needs an owner that is experienced and will show her TONS of love. Please help this girl.

These pups are in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma too!

Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption: We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information. We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womer after leaving our care.    Please submit a  Pre-Adoption Questionnaire by clicking the hyperlink if visible or visiting  Our Home Page to the application link  to show your interest in adoption. Only submit one app for any of our dogs, your app will be on file for at least 1 year. This questionnaire simply helps inform us if the dog you are interested in might match your families' dynamics based on what we have learned about that dog. All of our pets at True Friends Animal Rescue are featured on Our Home Page and can be accessed from our web listings, take a look as there may be more than one in our rescue that you like. if you don't find the information you are needing thru our websites, please submit an E-mail.    November 5, 2024, 5:14 pm

Story
Moo and her siblings were found in the road in rural Oklahoma, after almost getting hit by a passing car, they were taken to a rural shelter and then transferred to OklaHOME.   Moo is the biggest sibling of her litter, even though she is still small for her age. She has the a velvety grey and white coat, beautiful green eyes, and the most adorable bat ears we’ve ever seen!  Moo loves to play and roughhouse with her brother and other dogs in her foster home while outside, but when she comes inside, it’s time for some serious snuggles!  Moo is working on puppy basics in her foster home including kennel and potty training. She gets along well with dogs and kids, and even though she hasn’t met a cat, we think she would be fine with them.  ##2212881##
