Story
Neapolitan, affectionately called Neo by his foster family, is a laid-back and relaxed dog. He enjoys lounging on the couch with a toy, curling up for a nap, or cuddling with his foster parents. Having previously been confined to a smaller space, Neo is looking for a family that will give him a little time to adjust to a new environment. He’s not fond of being kenneled and prefers to sleep with his foster parents at night. Neo loves to stay close to his humans and follows them everywhere. Currently, Neo is being fostered with an XL dog, two medium dogs, and a cat. He is unbothered by the cat and would do well in a home either on his own or with other dogs, particularly if they are more laid-back and less inclined to play excessively.
Neopolitan is part of the "Ice Cream Pups" litter of 3 male pups. They are Catahoula Leopard Dog/mix (our best guess of breed), born approximately 4-17-24. Each pup has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. The Ice Cream Pups has cost the rescue nearly $5000 in veterinary care. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
