Story
ADOPT SKEETER!! Meet Skeeter, the ultimate Bluetick boy! This two-year-old is so handsome, sporting a laid-back vibe that makes him the perfect cuddle buddy. When he’s not snuggled up with you, you can find him cruising around, soaking up the sights from his favorite front window perch, watching the world go by. Skeeter’s not one to bark much—unless he’s jamming with his canine pals. He’s a social butterfly, getting along with all dogs, big or small, and while he can share space with cats, they’ll need to know how to dodge his playful antics when he gets a little too pumped up. This cool dude is fully potty trained, knows the ins and outs of a dog door, and even does well in his kennel. Just a heads up: he’s a bit of an escape artist, so that crate might need some extra reinforcement! Skeeter struts his stuff on a leash, although a gentle leader helps keep him in check. He’s also a fantastic co-pilot for car rides, ready to take a backseat adventure with you. But watch out! Skeeter has a knack for counter surfing and if you leave a loaf of bread on the counter, it’ll be gone in a flash! He’s got a big heart and a love for playtime, so he absolutely needs a furry friend to join him in the fun. Tennis balls and long chew toys are his jam! He loves hats and will steal them off of your head. He's a big goofball! With a little guidance and some clear expectations, this boy will impress you with how quickly he learns. He’s great with kids, but with that playful energy, he might accidentally knock the little ones over, so supervision is key. And while he’s working to curb his jumping greeting style, he’ll still give you a happy leap of joy when you come home! And a loving bay. Skeeter needs a secure six-foot fence to roam and play, so no apartment living for this adventurous spirit. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, easy-going companion who’s always up for a good time, Skeeter is your guy!

Story
We got Lucky at a shelter in the mountains in North Carolina. He was abandoned as a puppy and was found in a field all alone. Lucky is now 8 years old. His birthday is roughly around Thanksgiving every year. He has been a fun dog who craves love and attention every single day. He loves people and gets very excited when anyone comes over! He is completely house trained and has never had a pee accident in the house. He very rarely has had poop incidents, but it has only happened a couple of times due to stomach issues in the middle of the night. He can easily be left home alone for roughly 8 hours and be completely fine. He doesn't chew on anything and he generally just sleeps during the day if you are gone. He does not like other dogs in his "territory" because he considers himself the alpha dog. He needs a home that has no dogs, no cats, and no small children. He is okay with older kids, but gets nervous/defensive around toddlers/small children who get in his space.

Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2280191##
