Story
Hello! This is Boone and he is a Walker Coonhound with a little Bluetick Coonhound mixed in. He is almost exactly a year old as he was born NOV23. I can no longer take care of him because I am in the military and my schedule has become very busy with my ship going on underways and long working hours. He needs more attention as a 1 year old dog with Coonhound energy. He is smart but stubborn. He does exactly what you say when you have a treat in your hand but acts like he forgets when you don't so he needs a few months more patient training. After a run, he is very sweet and will always come lay on your lap every night to watch TV. He is good with other dogs and I take him to the dog park regularly and let him off leash. He still isn't the best at coming back to you yet but eventually comes to check in to see if you have a treat. Ideally he needs a large yard and a run or two a day. Please reach out with questions.

Story
Luna is a courtesy post only, and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog.  SCDR is  not  responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, or other representations made by the poster with respect to this dog.  You must contact his foster mom Wendy directly @ 949-202-6089 Luna is a very sweet and affectionate 3-year-old spayed female, 50 lb mix. She is being rehomed by her owner who pulled her from a rescue.   Her current owner has had her for 6 months and she is very healthy, vaccinated and has been through training classes so knows her commands and is house trained. Luna loves smaller dogs and puppies and would do great living with any breed her size or smaller. She's great with kids and would be fine with a cat (she is curious but respectful with cats). Luna is a couch potato at home and only barks when someone comes to the door. She loves her walks but can be leash reactive when meeting bigger dogs but she's fine with them at doggy day care off the leash. Luna’s owner is rehoming her due to a job change that no longer allows her to give Luna the life she deserves.    Please reach out to Wendy at 949-202-6089 if you would like to meet Luna.    There is a $100 rehoming fee.  November 7, 2024, 10:13 pm
