Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Mindy is a one-year-old female Catahoula, 40 lbs.  She is certainly a gorgeous gal with her striking markings; lots of energy, good with other dogs, seems to want to chase cats, loves attention.  Originally came to us as a stray no one ever came looking for sadly and was adopted to the most wonderful home.  Sadly health issues of her adopter came up so she had to come back to us and it broke their heart.  In the time she was with her adopter they let us know she is now house & crate-trained and while she loves playing she is also quite the house-dog.  Go out to potty in the rain - hu, no thank you but no mess in the house either.  She stayed in their fence with no issues.  They say she would do great with another playful dog close to her size as when family visited with their dog,  the two played outside all day long.  Mindy does still need work on leash walking as she just likes to pull and can be a lot to hang on to.  She was most loved and now we need to find her another fantastic home where she will be loved & treasured.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe.
