Story
Blue is the Texas state dog. She is very loving and protective, house-trained. She does not jump on furniture and is very good with kids. She is a hunting dog by nature and likes to be kept active, she also enjoys brisk walks. Hoping to find a home with a big yard so she can chase after squirrels and rabbits. Blue just had her wellness check, is in good health, and is up to date with all her shots as of December 2nd.

Story
Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs.  He is a sweetheart.  Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age.  He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play!  Tug of War is his favorite game.  He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times.  Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car.  Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please.  He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction.  He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion.  Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home.  Duke prefers older (if any) children.  The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them.  He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door!  Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.  Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! Story
Gonzo is the sweetest snuggliest dog I have ever met. She is patient and great with kids. Her birthday is 10/6/2020. We have had her since she was 11 weeks old. She loves to watch TV, but thinks it is real. She is crate trained and potty trained. She knows several tricks and is a quick learner. She likes to play fetch. She is a great walker. She likes to run on leash with my daughter on her scooter. She is a pure bred Texas Lacy, with papers. We got her from the Blue Lacy breeder who literally wrote the book on Blue Lacy Dogs. She was the runt of the litter —currently 40lb —which is pretty small for her breed. She loves people, she wants to please them, but she insists on a belly rubs and snuggles. She loves soft small toys to play with and chew. She cannot, cannot, cannot be with other dogs. So, no dog park or other house dogs. We want to keep her forever, but she must be an only dog. She has not spent time with cats, but was pretty scared of them at the vets office.

Howdy! I’m Winnie - the sweetest cattle dog in Central Texas! And I dare you to resist my sassy strut and wiggly tail nub! I’m a 6-7(ish) year old female Texas Heeler (that’s Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd if you were wondering). But don’t let my age fool you into thinking I act like a senior dog. I love playing tug and zooming around the yard with my foster brother! And afterward, I’m happy to chill with you on the sofa, or wherever you prefer to cuddle - because I LOVE a good cuddle with my humans! I’ve been with BCRRT since last year because when they found me, I was VERY pregnant and also heartworm positive. I was the best mama ever to 9 pups, but I’m happy to be retired from that and now I just play auntie to my kittty foster siblings - I’m great with them, as well as the chickens and any dogs or humans that I meet! I’m also crate trained and my foster mom says I’m a good girl on the leash and in the car. I'm all healthy now and ready to meet my furever humans.
