Hi I'm KangaRoo but you can call me Roo or RooRoo if you like. My foster mom says I am the sweetest girl that she has ever met and super smart. My foster mom says that I have something called hip dysplasia in both my hips, not sure what that is but that must be why I experience pain. A couple of months ago, I had surgery on my left hip and have healed from that. It has helped me so much with pain, and getting around. My right hip still is not good, and foster mom said she will explain this more to my new family. But from what I understand, I'll just need to keep working on building muscle in my hind legs and doing some stretching. Just like the humans do as they get older.  I am a super smart girl, and already know sit and how to walk on a leash. I do get excited when I see bunnies on walks but all you have to tell me is leave it and I calm down. My favorite things in all the world are walks with my humans, car rides, and sunbathe. I also like attention from the humans, and I'll talk to you to get your attention.  You can also check out my foster's social media pages to see some more pictures and videos of me. Cy is a beautiful dog that is about 6 years old. He loves playing with the kids and is very well behaved inside the house. He likes to go outside and bark at nature, so would be great if he was with an owner of a bigger property with open space. He has beautiful eyes and is a very loyal dog.

This beautiful gal is Ashoka, You couldn’t ask for a better friend.. a beautiful silver blue color. Maybe some lab, pity and blue lacy in her breeding.. Foster momma calls her RatDog as her super powers is she will help catch any rats/mouse you may have in your feed room! Don't have any cats but have a mouse problem? Here's your perfect solution! Haha! She would love a home where she could hang out, snack... who doesn't love food?!.... watch some movies, long walks at sunset.. She loves people and does well with other dogs!! She is crate and house trained.. She’s just about perfect.. a velcro girl that wants to be with her people!

Story
Indy quickly becomes everyone’s favorite Dobie due to his agreeable nature and persistence to live life to its fullest. He spends time lounging on his orthopedic dog bed between meals, barking if breakfast is late -then barks to announce its time to check the yard and stretch our legs. Happy to sunbath and monitor the other dogs, a peacemaker - he will bark to tattle on the dogs not playing nice. He has some white hairs and scars around his face, skin tags and one unruly ear crop - he is neutered, Heartworm treated and on prevention. Required treatment for skin and respiratory infections at intake. His blue coat is still growing back. He showed signs of neglect and had been abandoned as just a skeleton of a dog. Given a clean bill of health - he is adoptable (approximately 6 years old). He is on joint supplements and encouraged to continue to exercise to regain muscle. Story
Chandler lived with a young family in an apartment (purchased from a breeder) until he was 'too big' and surrendered to a shelter. He was poorly socialized and was not used to strangers and never had dog friends. He was significantly underweight at 54 lbs and barked at strangers. The shelter staff knew the best way to find the 'right' family for their 'Silly Goose' would be through Rescue. Chandler Goose weighed in at 70 lbs during his rescue intake and was still noticeably underweight with poor muscle tone. He is tall and at 2 years old, will not get any bigger - which is fine since he is above the breed standard of a Doberman and fitting in the category of a Warlock or King size bred Doberman. Chandler loves, LOVES balls and ropes. He is an anxious chewer and blanket sucker. He is very vocal, whining and barking. He was kenneled at the shelter for months, so he is reluctant to crate at his foster home. He prefers to sleep on a dog bed, couch or the floor. Chandler is being trained with boundaries (baby gates) and does not push open doors or push past people. He knows sit and is easy to walk on a leash. He will need a family accepting of his initial anxiety - he barks at new things and people (which is unnerving since he's huge) but will give kisses by the 2nd date or meeting, give 48 hours in a new home before he understands. He is working on house training and socializing. He functions with a puppy brain but is very trainable and eager to please. Vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms and on prevention, microchipped, neutered.
