I`m really shy at first and quite nervous in new situations...if you happen to know Dobes then you know what I`m talking about (we`re just big babies). I tend to take some time to warm up and will need a very patient adopter who is willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace.Once I know you, I`m a pretty fun guy. I LOVE affection and will lean into you for more and more pets. I love to go for walkies and smell ALL the amazing smells! I enjoy playing but also love a good cuddle on the couch too.Once upon a time, I used to be a farm dog. So I`ve lived with cats and dogs and a big family, but I didn`t always meet many people or experience city life. I am actually doing quite well here, and have made so many new human friends! But moving forward, I do need some further help and a hooman that will make sure they set me up for success. I do well with other doggos, but I can come on strong. I used to live with a doggo that wasn`t always nice to me, and sometimes we had a hard time sharing our things with each other, so a respectful but friendly dog friend would be best. I have lived with cats and like to play with them! I`m good with kiddos too, though, sometimes they can startle me. So older respectful, quieter teens might be better. Unfortunately for me, I have ear and skin issues. This means that I will likely have to be on meds for those things for the rest of my life. Luckily, the great people here have started to treat my ear and skin issues and I am starting to feel a whole lot better! So if you think you have the patience and can afford regular vet care with daily medications, then please apply to adopt me today. I swear I`m the sweetest boy and will make every day worth it!

Hi! My name is Ember. I`m a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. I`m really shy and submissive in new situations and with new people but my sister Ash really helps me to come out of my shell. I am said to be pretty outgoing and friendly once I settle into a place. I`ve lived with children and cats and been great with them (although I may chase a cat if it runs around!). I`m not super fond of dogs, they actually really scare me. So if you do have another dog friend, it should be a quiet and respectful one who will give me my space and time to warm up. I am known to bark (what cattle dog doesn`t) so I shouldn`t go to an apartment either.My sister Ash is pretty awesome so please take a look at her profile too so that you know what you are getting into when adopting us. Hi! My name is Ash.I am also super submissive like my sister Ember but I`m a little more confident than her.I am a social butterfly. I`m pretty talkative especially when I see people and other dogs who aren`t coming to say hello to me. I enjoy saying hi to everyone I meet though.I`ve lived with children and another dog (obviously) and am known to be respectful of cats but I could still chase them if they run quickly!
