Get ready for 100% cuteness overload! We’d like you to meet little Phoebe! She’s a 15 week old double Merle female Toy Australian Shepherd born on 7/3/24. She weighs a whopping 4lbs, can be a little shy, but loves to cuddle and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the most beautiful blue eyes! We think her adult weight can average approximately 15-22 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee.
Little Phoebe is doing great in her foster home and is in the beginning stages of potty training, and currently knows how to use the “potty pads” in the home. She’s good with other pups her size, but boy oh boy, those little “toofers” are sharp, sharp sharp! If she gets a hold of you, you’re gonna know it! Her new family must be 100% committed to working on all her puppy training with her, there will be no exceptions.
Everyone loves an adorable puppy, but they are a lot of work, but totally worth it! Due to her size, if there are any children in the home, they should be a little older, say 8+ respectful. Phoebe would like an amazing family to grow up with, one who will shower her with the love, affection, time and all the patience a puppy needs. A family where someone either works from home or works part time will be given preference.
Phoebe has been spayed, is up to date with age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and has been started on her heartworm and flea prevention. If you feel you’d be a great match for little Phoebe, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
