Carly is the last of her litter who is still available, and we keep asking ourselves, WHY? She's such a nice dog with her beautiful face. Carly's birthday is 4/3/23. Carly is 47 lbs. Adorable and energetic girl. She’s tall, lean, very Athletic, and can jump low fences easily. House-trained, but she may have an accident if she's very excited. She connects well with females and will need an additional day or two to get used to the male in the family since she was fostered and cared for by a female. She's friendly with other dogs. And she is not sure about cats. Very food motivated, which is a plus for easier training. Now working on leash walks Currently fostered in NJ The best home for Carly: A house with at least six feet of fence Another friendly dog is a plus Active family, going on hiking, running partner, etc Loving and patient owners Here is the back story: A lady in her late 80s loves her momma dog. The girl jumped the fence and got pregnant. (we'll be spaying her on the 25th) The lady, unfortunately, has terminal cancer and is somewhat bedridden. She can no longer care for them the way they need to be. She loves all of them and was crying, knowing she had to give them up. The six siblings were underweight and covered in fleas, but they anxiously waited for the lady to come to sit on the porch because the pups knew they would be patted! The lady has done her best to care for them and realizes it’s time to let them go. Our foster promised her we would find loving homes for them. And we will. Diva (aka Dew Drop) became an AATDR dog because her family could no longer keep her. She's a gorgeous girl who would enjoy life to the fullest with an active, adult family, or one with teenaged children. She would just love to be in a home - right now she's in boarding and has been for far too long. A home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal for her. She is a smart girl who loves learning. She needs exercise for both her mind and her body. She'd like to go on long walks or hikes, and she'd be a great candidate for nose work or agility. Diva does need to be an only pet. Given a short time to get to know you, Diva will be your best friend and a loyal companion. Clark is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. I had rescued Clark when he was found with his littermates on the side of the road in Texas when he was 13 weeks old. He loves to play fetch, give face kisses, and loves a good cuddle session. He knows all of the basic commands. Clark would do best in a home that has no young kids and has a yard for him to run around in. Please help give this heart shaped nose boy a loving home.
