Story
My given name from my foster mom is exactly who I am. Asta... this name means "divine strength", "love", and "star-like". I was abandoned by my first family on the side of the highway for a few months with my sister Kinsley. She was my protector during that time. I was terribly traumatized by being abandoned. Today I'm a shining star with beautiful grey eyes that match my coat. I like to play and go on backyard adventures with my sister and dog foster family. I like everyone and get along with other dogs and I'm a bit submissive and respectful towards everyone. I have beautiful pleading grey eyes that draw attention and make most ppl say awwwww and have a low key nature about me. We love each other very much and want to stay together for life! Please find it in your heart to adopt us together! We promise years of love and fun :) Local adoption fee together is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee together is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Meet Sapphire! Sapphire is a spirited and loving Blue Lacy who radiates joy and enthusiasm wherever she goes. This sweet girl has boundless energy and a zest for life that makes every moment with her an adventure. Sapphire has been thriving in her foster home! She’s had no accidents in the house and settles into her kennel at bedtime with just a brief moment of whining. She’s confident and social, as demonstrated by her excellent behavior during an outdoor breakfast at a restaurant and her bold stroll through Tractor Supply. However, bath time is still a work in progress—this strong girl definitely keeps her humans on their toes! True to her breed, Sapphire is active, energetic, and strong. She would be an ideal match for a big doggie sibling or an active teenager who can keep up with her playful spirit. While she loves to play, her size and strength can be a bit much for smaller or more delicate dogs. Sapphire’s affectionate nature is one of her most endearing qualities. She thrives on companionship and loves being part of the action, whether it’s an outdoor adventure, a play session, or simply relaxing with her family. Sapphire is looking for a home that can match her energy and provide her with the love, structure, and activity she needs to thrive. Could your family be the perfect fit for this lively and loving girl? Sapphire is being fostered in Seguin, TX, and is eagerly awaiting a forever family to share her love of life. If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and affectionate companion to brighten your days, Sapphire is ready to be your new best friend. To apply directly for Sapphire click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-538 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Meet Jack, a 2 year old neutered male Aussie Cattle Dog/terrier mix! He is a small guy, weighing about 23 lbs. Jack is shy and skittish at first, but he warms up quickly once he knows you are safe. He is good with other dogs. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. From Jack's current foster: "Jack is an easygoing, cuddly, friendly young dog. He would make a great companion or family dog. He is people-focused, happy-go-lucky, and adventurous. He has a fluffy little tail with a funny white tip and an adorable speckled chest. He has a soft, shiny coat and silky ears. He is housebroken and sleeps quietly in his crate. He is not a big barker, doesn’t pull on the leash, and enjoys the company of other dogs. He loves to play fetch or cuddle on the couch in front of the tv for a long winter nap." Jack is a good boy who can't wait to find his furever home! Apply to meet this sweet boy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application! Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2264642##

Story
Meet one of a kind, Mystic! This adorable 1-year-old mini Aussie Dachshund mix is packed with personality, weighing in at 18 pounds of pure delight, and tail wags! Sadly, Mystics story didn't begin with tender loving care. She was found in Tennessee, heavily pregnant and completely shut down. A shell of herself, she had lost her spark and her love for life. She was so unsure about what was in store for her. However, with the love and care of her TN and New England foster families, she has blossomed into the sweetest, most fun-loving dog around! Her tail now wags endlessly, and she is always ready to shower everyone with love and affection. Her playful nature ensures that she's always up for an adventure, whether it's a romp in the park or a snuggle session on the couch. But what really sets Mystic apart is her incredible intelligence. This clever canine has already mastered the art of communicating her needs, cleverly carrying her leash to the door when she's ready for an outing. And let's not forget those stunning eyes! Momma Mystic boasts gorgeous heterochromatic peepers, with one browne eye and one blue eye, adding an extra layer of uniqueness to her already captivating personality. Mystic is now ready to find her forever home, where she'll continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will brighten up your day with her infectious enthusiasm and adorable antics, tail wags, and a big smile every time she greets you, Mystic is the perfect furry friend for you!
