Story
Meet Tecca, Tecca is a super sweet girl that found herself in a high kill shelter in New Mexico and no one to come claim her. Her time was up in the shelter so to save her we brought her here to Colorado. Tecca is a super sweet girl that is shy at first but loves everyone she meets. She is only about 45 lbs and estimated to be around 4 1/2 years old. Tecca's DNA results are back and she is not a Doberman or even a Doberman Mix. We are a little shocked by the results but she is Malamute, Staffordshire , Cattle Dog mix....but we are pretty skeptical of those results to say the least with her size lol. Tecca is good with other dogs, kids that are respectful of dog space and cats. Tecca is also already house trained and does well in crates. Tecca has been spayed and then we found out that someone shot her several times with air rifle pellets. The pellets that could be removed have been but there are three left. Tecca does require a home with no chickens, ducks or other pet birds. Unless they can be kept completely safe from dogs. Tecca is also looking for a new foster due to her dislike of birds. To apply to foster Tecca please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/foster-application To apply to adopt Tecca please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Jax, Jax has been returned to rescue because he barked at a neighbor and well we can't really make that up. Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is just over 4 1/2 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children. Jax will need to be in a home that is willing to work with him and a trainer for him to continue to grow into the dog he is meant to be. He will also need a home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. Jax is muzzle trained and in high stress environments like vet offices it would be best for him to wear it in case he gets over stimulated. This boy has had a rough life thus far after running the streets of Mexico to coming here. Jax is back to the dog we originally adopted out. He would be best in a home with another dog to keep his confidence up. He is good with cats and horses also. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Meet Dandy, Dandy some of you will remember as Royal. Dandy arrived from Texas awhile ago and has finally completed his heart worm treatment and is negative! As of today Dandy has been vetted and did have a dental partially completed and will need to have some additional teeth removed in the coming weeks. Dandy is such a good boy and super sweet and officially looking for his forever home. Since Dandy did have heart worms he will need to stay on prevention for the rest of his life. Currently he has several months left on his Pro heart injection so will not need prevention for awhile. Dandy is good with other dogs and cats and hasn't met a stranger.
