Story
Scarlet is a really sweet dog and playful. Shes mostly house trained unless she’s left in the house too long. Shes curious about cats and just wants to play. I havnt had any issues with other animals. She does like the trash so keep it out of reach. Was my kids dog but he went into the army and we don’t have the time for her. I think she was kennels most her life so she needs some work but she’s come a long way. She’s about 5 years old and we adopted her last year. I have the paperwork for her.

Story
Jewel's story is a heartbreaking one. It took us over a year to get her. She had an owner in Rosarito Mexico, but he would not feed her and only used her for breeding and guarding the property. Her last 2 litters came into our rescue very sick because of his overwhelming neglect. He only surrendered them when he thought they were going to die and he didn't want to deal with that "inconvenience." But after her last litter passed away we used that as the momentum to finally push him to allow us to take her. Because of the laws in Mexico you cant just steal a dog that has a legal owner without physical abuse videoed so we needed his permission to take her. I'll never forget the first time she came in the house, she wanted to so badly, and the moment she realized that she now had a bed in the house she lost it! She has the sweetest and sunniest disposition we have ever met! All she wants is love and attention. Her favorite are hugs, they solve any situation. If she is naughty, she needs a hug. If its beautiful out, she wants a hug. She is very smart and learns new skills quickly. She will do anything for pets and snuggles!
