Story
Einstein is a 4-year-old male Doberman who must be neutered before adoption.  He is an owner turn in because his energy level was too much for his elderly owner.  Einstein has the typical black and tan markings of a pure bred Doberman; but his ears are not cropped and his tail is not docked.  He weighs 98 pounds so he is an extra large dog.  Einstein is beyond active.  He would need a securely fenced yard where he can exercise; and he needs an owner who is experienced with large dogs.  Einstein is house trained.  He is so strong on a leash it takes a very strong person to manage him.  We would recommend he be an only pet--no other dogs or cats in the home.  We also recommend, due to his size and energy level, that he not be in a home with children.  Einstein is a very handsome dog.  He will be a challenge for his owner; and he needs an adopter who will be devoted to working with him.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  January 30, 2025, 4:57 pm

Story
Elvis is a 7-month-old male Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He came to PAHS as an owner turn in because he kept taking things from the neighbor's yard and bringing them home with him.  Elvis is a mixture of red, white and black markings.  This handsome fellow weighs 31 pounds so he isn't a big guy.  Everybody at the shelter loves Elvis!  He plays well with others--including staff, volunteers, children, and other dogs.  Elvis is very much still a big puppy who knows he is cute; and he is a little mischievous--aka 'borrowing' things from the neighbors!  Come out and meet our guy--Elvis who 'ain't nothing but a hound dog'!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  January 30, 2025, 6:49 pm
