Story
Rex is an Anatolian x Pyrenees (dad) and Labrador x Bloodhound (mom). We initially rescued him with full intentions of him becoming a Diabetic Alert Dog and being sent out for training. When we were not accepted for the training program we were unable to spend the proper time ourselves training him. He is a very sweet and loving giant lap pillow. However, the shepherd and Pyrenees is evident in the space he needs to run and exhaust his energy. He knows the basics, sit, lay down, no, he is just still very much a puppy and doesn't always listen. Rex is a very trainable dog, but he needs someone that can give him the time he needs to reach his full potential. He is up to date on shots at the time of this posting, but will be due for his 1 year boosters in a few months. Rex is unaltered because our vet would not do it before 6 months of age. He has been raised inside with 3 boys aged 3 to 9, but quickly outgrew his human brothers. We hate to see him go, but want him to live his best life.
