At first, she was so unsure about the world—but she’s been incredibly brave, trying new things even when she’s scared. She’s starting to open up and it’s the most beautiful thing to watch. She loves laying her head on her foster mom and just being close. She’s soft, sweet, and slowly showing us the playful side she’s been keeping tucked away. Meadow was rescued from the streets of the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas. We don’t think she’s ever lived inside a home until she arrived to her foster. She is low energy and doesn’t require a yard or long walks, so she could definitely live in an apartment. She is fully potty-trained and crate-trained. Meadow has done great with another dog after proper introductions. She currently lives with two other dogs in her foster home and peacefully coexists. She is learning how to walk on leash and doesn’t pull. Unfortunately we don’t know which breeds she is but we do know she is truly gorgeous. She deserves to find a family who will treasure her forever! She is ready to find her perfect match. Meadow is currently fostered in Victoria, TX. THOMAS IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! AUSTIN TX! Our majestic treeing walker coonhound has come so far! This poor guy came into the rescue severely malnourished with wounds all over his body and his eye desperately needing surgery. Thanks to our incredible donors, we were able to get him the vet care he needed. He has now recovered from his eye surgery and is ready for his forever home for Christmas! His foster family says he is a perfect gem! He is sweet and goofy and loves his many foster doggy siblings! Thomas is one of the least reactive dogs one of our head people claims; she posted a video to Facebook and Thomas just stood and looked as the neighbors dogs barked. If his foster family had room for one more pup, Thomas would definitely be a foster fail. He is perfect.
