Story
Polly is a gentle and friendly baby who loves to play and is very intelligent. She is great with other dogs (the more the better) and loves making new friends. Would be a great dog for puppy daycare or live among other great dogs. She is just learning about the world around her and will need lots of love, patience, and care si she can grows up to. Be your perfect girl. If you're looking for a fun, clever, and gentle companion, Polly is the perfect girl for you! Crate trained, loves being outside, knows sit , wait, easy and walks on a leash. She is well behaved in public. Has even gone to restaurants and had lunch in the patios. Possible service dog candidate. Her nose is top notched, with a keen sense for hunting; making hind and seek games fun. Adoption will include a new leash, collar and one free training class sponsored by https://thecanineclubhaus.com/about/ Why this girl hasn’t been snatched up yet is beyond me. Shy to strangers but gentle and kind.

Story
Meet Jane, the heart-stealer of the Spring 2024 HALTdogs pack. While our other pups are settling into their forever homes, Jane is still waiting for her perfect match. But we're confident that somewhere out there, the ideal family for her is just waiting to be found! Jane is a spirited 1-year-old hound mix, bursting with affection and an endless desire to play. She's mastered all the basics—sitting, lying down, staying put, and walking politely on a leash. Plus, she's proven herself to be a true socialite, charming everyone she meets with her impeccable manners, even during outings to the store. What Jane dreams of is an active family who can keep up with her boundless energy, maybe even with some furry pals for her to romp around with. She thrives on treats and, most importantly, love—a lot of it! If you think you could be Jane's forever home, we'd love to hear from you. You can start the process by filling out the application on our website, sending us a message, or visiting haltdogs.org for more information. And don't worry—there's no application fee, and all our dogs, including Jane, are up to date on their vaccines and vet care. So come on, don't let Jane's charm go to waste! Arrange a meet-and-greet to witness her agility skills firsthand and see if she's the missing piece to complete your family. Together, let's find Calamity Jane the loving home she truly deserves. 🐾❤️
