Story
Hello, my name is Sasha! Despite being in a beagle rescue, I'm actually a Treeing Walker Coonhound, and bigger than the average beagle. I'm around 5-7 years old, and I'm looking for a family to love me. I was abandoned in a park by someone who removed my collar and left me. A kind man did eventually rescue me, and I've been living with a foster family. They say I'm a bit slow to open up to people, but that's only because I've been let down before. However, I've shown that I'm incredibly loyal and affectionate to those who are kind to me. I will require a patient and gentle family who can help me come out of my shell. If you think your family could give me the loving home I deserve, please get in contact with my rescuers. Please come and meet me, and see if we're the right match! For more information, please contact Kappy Hodges at kappy@cascaderescue.org. To view adoption process, please check out: https://www.cascaderescue.org/the-process/

Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
