Story
We are thrilled to introduce you to two incredibly special girls, Star and Sophia, who are ready to find their forever home! These beautiful Coonhounds came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where they lived with 71 other sweet souls. Star and Sophia have emerged from their past stronger than ever! Both have received complete veterinary care, are microchipped, and are heartworm negative and on preventatives. While Sophia has been spayed, Star is scheduled for her surgery soon. Star weighs 56lbs and is estimated to be about 5 y/o Sophia weighs 67lbs and is estimated to be about 2 y/o These girls are not just survivors; they are lovely companions who are blooming beautifully! They thrive in the company of other animals, whether it's a playful pup or a curious cat. Plus, they're doing fantastic with their housetraining—no accidents to report! They've also shown how gentle and kind they are around babies and children. Despite their hound lineage, which often comes with barks and howls, these girls are surprisingly quiet. While Sophia may express herself with a little whine as she adjusts to her new surroundings, it’s merely a sign of her being a little unsure—definitely not disruptive! Star and Sophia have faced so much change already, and now they deserve a forever home where they can finally plant their roots and feel secure. If you are looking to open your heart and home to these sweet, loving girls, please don't hesitate to reach out. They are not bonded and they do not have to be adopted together. But Sophia would definitely benefit from having another dog around to play with.

We have had Olive since she was a puppy. Unfortunately our daughter has developed some allergies and despite not wanting to part with her and our other dog it's looking like that's what's best for our daughter.
