Story
Meet Buster – A Loyal, Energetic Bloodhound Mix Looking for Room to Roam Buster is a 4-year-old bloodhound mix with a big heart and an even bigger nose! He absolutely loves being outside where he can run, explore, and put his tracking instincts to work. Once properly introduced, Buster gets along well with other dogs and quickly becomes a friendly companion. He’s great with children and has been part of a busy household with four kids. That said, he’s a food enthusiast—he’ll happily clean up any snacks that hit the floor, and he’s been known to sneak food from unattended plates. Buster is crate trained and prefers sleeping in his crate at night. Buster would thrive in a rural or farm setting with ample space to roam, sniff, and be active. A home with other animals and room to explore would be ideal for his energetic nature and working-dog instincts. We’re rehoming Buster because our suburban environment—with a small yard and constant foot traffic—doesn’t meet his needs.

Story
Meet Ranger! Ranger is a big ol’ goofy Bloodhound with a heart (and bark) as big as his ears! This handsome hound loves to play ball and is always up for a game. True to his breed, he's got a nose that never quits—once it’s down, those ears are off! “Nose down, ears off” sums him up perfectly. Ranger is a strong-willed explorer who will definitely wander if given the chance, so a secure fenced-in yard is a must. He’s got a bark that’ll rattle the whole kennel—so you’ll never have to guess when he’s got something to say! He can be quite pushy with other dogs and may come off a little intimidating, but when tested, he didn’t show any aggression—just some over-the-top enthusiasm. He doesn’t pay much attention to cats, but slow intros are always a good idea. Ranger is still working on his leash manners and will need a patient adopter willing to put in the time. He can get mouthy when putting his leash on and off, so some structure and consistent training will go a long way. Ranger is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative—ready to head to his forever home! If you're looking for a lovable, vocal, nose-driven adventure buddy, Ranger might just be your perfect match.

Story
We got Moose from an old co worker about a year and a half ago. He is 7 years old and not fixed. There was always someone home with him in his previous house so we didn’t know about his bad separation anxiety until we had him. We tried a cage but he hates being in them. We thought it would be good for him to have a puppy to stay home with him while we were gone and they got along great when she was little but when she started eating the same food as him he started getting food aggressive. We worked with him for a while to train him out of it and he was good for a few months then he started snapping at the other dog and it’s just getting too dangerous for her. He used to growl at us a little while we were around his food but we trained him out of that for good. Other than the food aggression he is a really good dog. He doesn’t have accidents inside and he loves to cuddle up on people. He likes to howl with you and jump up on your shoulders to say hi.
