Story
Roxy was adopted from us as a puppy five years ago. While we won’t go into details, we’re grateful to have her back and committed to finding her the perfect forever home. Since returning, Roxy has had a formal behavioral evaluation by BLK9 and is ready to move forward. She’s a sweet, loyal girl who just needs a little space and time to warm up to new people. Once she does, she’ll gladly drop a tennis ball at your feet—again and again—for a game of fetch. Roxy also loves lounging in the grass, soaking up the sun, and snuggling on the couch after a good play session. At 5 years old, she’s hit that golden balance of playful energy and calm companionship. She’s crate and house trained, and while she can coexist with other dogs, she truly thrives as the only dog in the home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and low-maintenance best friend, Roxy might just be your girl. Meet Roxy. Sweet Roxy is a loving and kind hearted hound girl. She is happy to lay on the couch and watch a movie, and also enjoys roaming the yard on sniff duty. Roxy is great with kids and curious about farm animals. She would like the pigs to be her friend and always gives the cows a hello. Roxy is learning to be brave on leash, so we would love a fenced yard for her to do her business in, and also to explore all the smells nature has to offer. Although in our care she has not shown any concerning behaviors toward other dogs,we are looking for a family where she can be the only dog tp have all the love and affection she desires. Roxy is really looking forward to having a family over her own! She has so much love to give! ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. If you are looking for a good, larger, sturdy girl, you have found her in Pattie. She has also been shown to be friendly to other dogs. Pattie wants to please and at barely only 2 years old, she is still a young dog and ready to learn what you want her to know. She would do especially well with an active outdoorsy person or family, but can't be in a home with small children. She would be a perfect companion for hiking, camping, exploring.  Since Patti is still very young and not had all the opportunities to learn as a puppy she needs training to help learn proper behaviors. She needs a family that will work with her and teach her how to be a great companion. You will get to teach her just what you want her to know!We have made sure she has all her shots and she is ready to prance right into your house and heart.NOTE:  Pattie will need a 6 ft fence to keep her safe.  We have done a DNA on her and she is mostly Bloodhound and Siberian Husky, which makes her VERY smart, but also wanting to follow her nose when some exciting scent comes along.  Hence, a tall or unclimable  fence.  SO many wonderful possibilities with this bright girl!
