Story
The Heart of Dixie  came to us from an owner who could no longer keep her. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 12/22/19 and she currently weighs approx. 125#. This girl is reported as house trained! She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm & tick born illness negative. Her adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2407458##

Ready To Roll Rufus came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 10/10/23 and he currently weighs 96#. This guy is all hound with the bark he should have. He needs an experienced home with the patience to let him be the hound he is. This is a lot of dog. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Story
Penny is sooo sweet! She has a ton of extra skin and soft floppy ears. Penny loves being outside running around the yard, chewing sticks or anything. She will also dig for moles and other critters that she can hear in the ground. We have younger kids and has always done well with them. We also have another dog that she gets along with really well. They play for hours running and wrestling together. We are currently in the middle of selling our house and Penny has struggled with going to the bathroom outside. We make some progress and then we are back to her peeing and pooping inside. She also has a chewing habit. We have tried toys and bones but they only last so long. We are currently in a phase where we have to keep our eyes on her at all times. Penny is incredibly smart! We just wish we had the time to train her to use her smarts for good vs. bad. We are hoping to find her a loving home that she can run around and be given the consistent attention that she needs.
