Story
YOU GUYS. This boy is the MOST HANDSOME hound we have seen in a long time – and we have seen a lot of handsome hounds. He’s literally handsome fireman, steal yr girl, leading man, main character good looking, AND has an amazing personality too! *four years old *loving and gentle * Barks moderately when he hears activity outside *Scared of doorways and hard slippery floors *Loves toys and isn’t really open to sharing but isn’t aggressive *No resource guarding or issues surrounding space *Weaves back and forth on a leash but has excellent potential and doesn’t pull too hard. Would do well bring taught how to walk on gentle *excellent kitchen manners *Potty trained and doesn’t mark *Needs a five foot fence however doesn’t appear to be interested in jumping *Wants to leave with you potential door darting *No off Leah activity. The force is strong with this one… That nose will take him five miles from home if you’re not careful *Eats well. Does not like canned wet food. Hunter prefers whole foods like hamburger, turkey, or chicken as a topping. He loves vegetables of any kind *Drools occasionally not excessive * Small for his size *Rides well on the car. Moderately nervous to jump in by himself *good with all dogs of any size *Likes to play and wrestle with a gentle playmate *Extremely head shy. Needs a slow, gentle hand *Terrified of yelling and raised voices, quick movements, and large objects *Does not appear to have any allergies *Great ear health no issues detected *Neutered, up to date on vaccinations, chipped, and heart worm negative *Needs to be cat tested however, bloodhounds are typically really good with cats *His new humans will be soft, gentle people that want to shower Hunter in love. They will want to build his confidence and show him that not all humans are cruel *This animal has a heart of gold and is a treasure waiting to be uncovered *Being fostered in Aurora, Colorado *$300.00 adoption fee *If you’ve ever wanted a bloodhound Hunter is an excellent candidate for people that are new to the breed. He embodies all of the great characteristics of the breed without any of the attitude 🙃 Hunter wants to sit and watch TV with you, walk with you, talk with you, listen to your old stories, and be part of your new stories.
