Finnegan came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama along with his sister, Baby Maisey. This poor baby had been at the shelter there for over a month! It is heartbreaking that a sweet and curious little puppy had to grow up in a cage. But things are looking up for Finnegan. He has been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and landed himself a nice foster home. Finnegan is desperately looking for his forever people now. Could that be you? He is a little shy but very sweet. Finnegan loves other dogs. He will grow to be a wonderful companion for many years to come. At Finnegan's young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization too. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
