Story
Sweet, Sassy and Snuggly! Meet Feyre Archeron! Feyre Archeron is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).  Feyre Archeron is a mixed breed puppy with fawn and grey fur and striking light-colored eyes. We estimate she will be a medium size dog when full grown. Part of our Court of Dreams litter, Feyre Archeron and her eight siblings were discovered in a cardboard box and turned in to a Texas shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. Thanks to our amazing fosters, we were able to save them all and transport them here to find new homes in the PNW area. Like her literary namesake, our Feyre has left behind the world she knows and flown to a new and strange land (Snow! Mountains! Lots of trees!) hoping to find a better life than the one she left behind.  Silly and sassy, and affectionate, Feyre Archeron is an exuberant puppy who hates to be alone or left out of anything. Sweet and very cuddly, she alternates between being your shadow and having to know what everyone else is doing (she definitely has some FOMO). Feyre Archeron wants to be the center of attention, and she isn’t above a little sassy behavior to get attention. She will steal your comfy seat on the couch, another pup’s toys, or someone’s cozy blankets (even if she isn't interested in the item) just because someone else has it. Funny and friendly, she enjoys walks and meeting new people, and once she lets loose with her social butterfly nature, she showers people with kisses and snuggles (personal space is an alien concept to her).  Feyre Archeron loves to run around outside for an audience, doing zoomie laps until she wears herself out. Chew toys are popular, too; Feyre is very food motivated and loves any game that results in treats. Born in mid-July, Feyre Archeron is learning her skills quickly. She has progressed well through her potty training, and she has started leash and obedience training. She already has good recall skills and comes when called. She knows what she wants and can be vocal about being her crate. Feyre Archeron’s ideal home? She seeks someone to love who will love her in return, who will ensure she learns the skills that will make her a happy and well-rounded dog. Feyre would do well in a home with older kids and older dogs who aren’t fazed by her sassy personality. Treats and games and warm blankets would be wonderful, too. Does this sound like your home?  Want to meet Feyre Archeron? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website for more information! What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Gentle girl and steadfast companion! Meet Amren! Amren is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Amren is a mixed breed puppy with black fur, chocolate eyes, and floppy ears. We estimate she will be a medium size dog when full grown. Part of our Court of Dreams litter, Amren and her eight siblings were discovered in a cardboard box and turned in to a Texas shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. Thanks to our amazing fosters, we were able to save them all and transport them here to find new homes in the PNW area. While her literary namesake may be vain and temperamental, our Amren is kind, gentle, and looking for someone to love her as much as she will love them. Sweet and affectionate, Amren can take her time to get to know you, and when she does, she lets her loving personality shine. She enjoys cuddles with people or her sister; she’s happy to snuggle up and spend some quality time with you on a comfy couch. Amren also loves to give little kisses. She has done well with the children, cats, and other dogs in her foster home. Amren likes to explore her surroundings, and she found her reflection quite interesting. This gentle girl might not be the most boisterous of her siblings, but her lovely nature rivals all of them! Born in mid-July, Amren is starting to learn new skills. She has begun potty training and leash training (she finds the big, loud outdoors a little perplexing). Amren finds her crate a relaxing, calm space, seeking it out when she is over-stimulated, and she will spend several hours at a time in it quietly amusing herself with a toy or napping. She loves her food, and she is still a bit underweight. She will begin obedience training shortly (which, since it features treats, might soon become a favorite activity for her). Still in the clumsy puppy stage, Amren is figuring out the stairs in her foster home. Amren’s Ideal home? This gentle girl would fit into any home with people to love who will love her back. Amren would enjoy lots of snuggles and opportunities to play, and siblings of the kid and animal kind would suit her sweet nature. She would thrive with an adopter who would expose her to new experiences and adventures and broaden her world. In return, she will be a steadfast companion and binge-watching buddy. A Snuggly and Loving Companion for You! Meet Cassian! Cassian is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Cassian is a mixed breed puppy with soft, fawn colored fur and a darker muzzle. Part of our Court of Dreams litter, Cassian and his eight siblings were found abandoned in a cardboard box and turned into a local shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. Our amazing fosters committed to taking them in, and PHR was able to save the whole litter. Cassian is already larger than the rest of his siblings, so it is possible he is a brother from another mother who ended up in the same box as the others. Whatever his parentage, he is a Thorns and Roses pup now! Friendly and affectionate, Cassian loves to be with his people. The world is full of so many new and surprising things that can be startling to a young puppy (Loud noises! His reflection!), and loyal Cassian takes comfort from the people around him. He enjoys romping and running, especially when he has company. Snuggly and eager to give kisses, this exuberant puppy delights in playing with chew toys, other dogs, and has done well with kids and cats. Food and treats are very high on his list of favorite things; he really knows how to work his puppy eyes to his advantage! Born in mid-July, Cassian is working hard on his skills. He sleeps through the night, and he is progressing well through his potty training. He is working on crate training and leash training, and he will begin learning his basic obedience commands shortly (wait until he finds out treats are involved in that!). Cassian’s ideal home? This affectionate boy seeks a loving home with someone to be his companion for walks, adventures, and snuggles who will ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Lots of toys and treats would make him the happiest pup in the world, and Cassian would do well in a home with kids, cats or dogs. Your New Best Friend is Waiting for You! Meet Nuala! Nuala is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Nuala is a mixed breed puppy with black fur and white markings on her chest. We estimate she will be a medium size dog when full grown. Part of our Court of Dreams litter, Nuala and her eight siblings were discovered in a cardboard box and turned in to a Texas shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. Thanks to our amazing fosters, we were able to save them all and transport them here to find new homes in the PNW area. Like her literary namesake, our Nuala is a loyal companion and will be a true friend for some fortunate adopter. Smart, affectionate and sweet, Nuala will be the perfect companion dog. She settled into her foster home quickly and soon decided she loved everyone there (she behaves very well with cats and kids). Friendly Nuala loves to snuggle and play with both her sibling and the much larger resident dog; her exuberance is infectious. She’s up for any romping or games they might suggest. If it is raining (she’s not a fan), chew toys are a big hit with this little girl and amuse her indoors. After the play, she needs a nap to recharge, and boy does she nap hard! Born in mid-July, Nuala is a quick learner. Her foster has taught her to wait to be released before eating her meals, and she has started her potty training. She spends several hours at a time in her crate. Nuala is learning to walk on a leash, and she will start obedience soon (which should become a new favorite thing for her when she realizes treats are involved; Nuala is very food motivated). Nuala’s ideal home? This friendly girl will thrive in any home with people she can love who will love her in return. Treats and chew toys would be lovely, as would siblings of the dog, cat, or kid kind. Nuala would love companions for walks and adventures, and this smart girl would enjoy exploring and learning new things. If this sounds like you, Nuala would love to meet you! Want to meet Nuala? Story
A pup who thinks he is a cat … Meet Azriel! Azriel is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).  Azriel is a mixed breed puppy with black fur, mottled black and white markings on his chest, and sweet brown eyes. We estimate he will be a medium size dog when full grown. Part of our Court of Dreams litter, Azriel and his eight siblings were discovered in a cardboard box and turned in to a Texas shelter where they were slated for euthanasia. Thanks to our amazing fosters, we were able to save them all and transport them here to find new homes in the PNW area. While he isn’t the shadowy, enigmatic figure his literary namesake is, our Azriel shares the character’s loyal, protective, and generous nature towards those he considers family. Friendly, affectionate, and gentle, couch potato Azriel does a fantastic impression of a cat. This pup loves to be with person, and he will always try to climb up into your lap. We aren’t sure if he is seeking quality companionship or body heat, but it is sweet and endearing. With his short fur, Azriel finds our PNW weather to be more than a little on the chilly side, so blankets and warm places to nestle are top of his list. He has a sweater to help with the cold, and while he hasn’t quite figured out the donning of it part, he is quite grateful for it once it is on! This pup will be thrilled when summer rolls around.  Once he feels warm, Azriel’s playful nature emerges. Mellow and lower energy, he likes to explore and engage his brain. Azriel is curious about new things and friendly to new people, and he adores chew toys and puzzles to find food. Food might be his third favorite thing, after people and warmth. Azriel is interested in what you are doing and fascinated by the world around him. Having flown to Washington in an airplane, he is comfortable travelling and likes riding shotgun when out for drives.  Born in mid-July, Azriel is a young puppy but is learning quickly. He has progressed quickly through his potty training (getting back in the warm house is a big incentive) and spends several hours at a time in his crate (though he prefers a warm comfy lap). He is starting leash and obedience training and has good recall skills when called.  Azriel’s ideal home? He seeks someone to love who will love him in return. If you have warm blankets and like to snuggle, then that checks all the boxes for Azriel. He would do fine in a home with kids, dogs or cats, and he would love treats, toys and food puzzles. A gentle pup with simple needs, Azriel will thrive in any home where people love him and ensure he learns the skills to make him a healthy and happy dog. Does this sound like your home? We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2210290##
