We found Pretty Girl roaming a parking lot on Christmas Eve 2023, loving, alone, and in much need of a good meal. We took her in and tried to find her owner but had no success. In February 2024 we realized we would need to find her a new forever home, so we took her to the vet for a check up which she passed with flying colors and we got her a rabies vaccine during the visit. The vet estimated her to be about 9 months old during that time (1.5 yrs old now in Oct 2024) and her breed possibly a mix with a black mouth cur. She was not trained when we found her but she is absolutely trainable, she is doing better with going potty outside and she can sit and go to bed on command. She is very friendly, playful, loves to play fetch, chases her tail, and gets the zoomies. She does well with adults, we haven't tested her around small children. It looks like she does well with other dogs but she does not do well with cats which is the unfortunate reason why we cannot keep her any longer.

Willow came to us by surprise. My wife is currently battling cancer while I’m in and out of town so it’s been hard to care for her properly. Willow is about 10 months loves to run play and jump. She is house trained and knows sit, when she wants, stay, and plays fetch. She gets excited and will jump but does love her people. She needs more walking, running, and work. She’s a working/hunting dog.

A very sweet and gentle girl. She loves to run and jump and play. She would probably be good at an agility course. She can leap tall buildings in a single bound!! LOL. She needs a yard with at least a 6 foot fence. She can jump a 5 foot one. Mama will chase cats. She does well with the 2 dogs she came with but I'm not sure of others. She hasn't shown any aggressive tendencies. Mama is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. She loves car rides and hugs. She will bark to let people know she is on duty and protective of her home otherwise not a lot of barking. A really sweet girl.November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Nala was found on the side of the street on October 30th. She’s very energetic and is great with other dogs. Based on her teeth, she’s roughly 5 months old. We never planned to keep her, but we got her some flea medicine and kept her in a cage until we could find someone who would want her. No luck yet. Recently, she’s been really sick. We want her to feel better, but we can’t keep up with the medical bills. She could potentially have Parvo. I received four different types of medication from our vet visit on November 5 and I can send her with that medication if she finds a new home, and explain what the vet told me (how often to take the meds, feeding, etc.). We don’t want her to suffer, but my husband and I are young and only make so much money to sustain ourselves and our first dog. We both work and don’t have the time to take care of her every hour until she gets better as the vet recommends. I’m very sorry. I’ll give everything that we got for her, toys, towels, bowls and collar.
