Story

Sweet Rae was adopted in 2017 at 8 weeks old. She lived playfully and peacefully with our cat until he passed. She loves kids. Is very curious, enjoys running and spending quiet time equally, basking in the sun. She’s quite the escape artist and keeps getting out of our fence, which has posed a problem in our neighborhood. She has been trained, knows lots of tricks and loves cheese and peanut butter. She does not like storms and is a protector of females. We are relocating to a smaller property that is not fenced, and we need to find her forever home.

Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She has a lot of love to give to someone who can give her a chance.May came into rescue during COVID with her puppies almost 4 years ago. She has seen so many foster puppies come and go through our barn and continues to patiently wait for her turn for a family of her very own.
