Dakota is a gorgeous black-mouth cur/boxer mix, around 5 years old and was owner surrendered in August 2024 due to family issues and no fault of Dakota’s. Sadly, she had no place to go except the shelter, so Bridget’s Pet Resort stepped up to foster her. However, after three months in boarding, Dakota is not thriving. She is a big people dog and enjoys cuddles. She urgently needs a home with someone to love her and provide her with a loving home. Dakota is very well behaved and at five years old, she is in the prime of her life. She is past the puppy stage and perfect for someone who does not want to go through training. Dakota wants to please people and is totally potty and kennel trained. She knows all basic commands and will make a fantastic loving pet for anyone lucky enough to get her. Currently, she is making excellent progress with her crate training, displaying a remarkable ability to settle down with her bones and toys after only a few initial whines or barks. It`s impressive to note that she has adapted so well—she can hold it overnight and during the day, even with her foster mom being away for up to eight hours at a time. Kristin`s intelligence shines through as she has already mastered the commands `sit` and `stay,` if only for a few seconds. She`s even picking up on potty bells, showcasing her eagerness to learn.Beyond her training, Kristin is an observant little companion who loves to be by your side while you go about your daily activities. Whether it’s playing fetch in the yard or chasing after kiddos as they run around, she revels in those moments of joy and playfulness, even if she sometimes forgets her manners and jumps up in excitement like many young puppies do. When the day winds down, Kristin finds comfort in simply lounging on the couch, soaking up affection and companionship. Meet Tristan!Tristan is a sweet 4 month old puppy who is learning all about the world around him. Tristan has a love for squeaky toys and bones. He also enjoys the occasional tug-of-war.
