Story
Meet Snow White, the fairest of them all and not just because she is cute enough to win over seven dwarfs (or in her case six siblings). This almost 13 week old 20 pound heart stealer was born to our sweet mama Nala, a beautiful Basenji mix, right in the VIP suite at our local animal control (okay fine it was a kennel but she made it work). Dad’s identity is a mystery, possibly a dashing stranger or maybe even a traveling salesman, so Snow White is rocking the “designer mix” vibe. She has been raised with her brothers and sisters so she has top notch puppy play skills and she is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and a sprinkle of fairy tale magic to her forever home. Adopt Snow White and your happily ever after might just come with puppy kisses and the occasional chewed slipper. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Daffy is up for adoption in Texas only! Meet Daffy! Daffy is a 5.5-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing in at 30 pounds of pure joy! This fun-loving, happy pup is always ready for an adventure, whether it’s romping around with her doggy friends (no matter their size—even 100-pound ones!) or curling up for a cozy snuggle session. She’s brave, confident, and can hold her own in any playgroup. Daffy is also a superstar in the home—she’s perfect in her crate without a single complaint and is now potty trained! She’ll need continued training to keep up her great progress, but she’s already well on her way to being the perfect companion. She’s done well with cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home! But her absolute favorite thing? Ice cubes! The moment she hears them dropping from the fridge, she comes running for her favorite crunchy treat. Daffy is playful, affectionate, and full of personality—just waiting for a loving family to share her sweetness with. Could she be the perfect fit for your family? Story
Meet Ranger Howie, a 6-month old Black Mouth Cur mix with the brains and heart of a future top recruit. This brave little soldier had a rough start, but he’s making huge strides in his training. Howie has already mastered “sit,” loves to play fetch, and after his puppy zoomies fade, he’s a surprisingly chill and easygoing boy. He’s fearless around horses, unfazed by loud noises, and enjoys weekly “training missions” at doggy daycare where he learns from the best and plays with his fellow recruits. Howie is non-aggressive and even respectful toward cats, though he’s still learning they don’t always want to play. He’s working on potty training, crate training, and basic manners — all part of his journey to becoming a well-trained gentleman. Smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, Howie just needs a patient, loving family to guide him to his full potential. He loves car rides and sits calmly in the back seat like a true professional on patrol. With plenty of toys, playtime, and affection, Ranger Howie will grow into the loyal, dependable companion every family dreams of. Could your home be his next command post? To apply directly for Howie, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-753 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
